The ESi Controls ESAVB15C Automatic Air Vent is designed for heating systems and other closed circuit hot water systems which require the efficient, automatic removal or air when a system is filling with water. The ESAVB15C allows quick and easy removal of trapped air from sealed heating systems without draining down the system and reduces, and often eliminates, the need for bleeding. This prevents corrosion and problems with operation and can save time and money when installing a new heating system. The ESAVB15C is a cylinder style Automatic Air Vent with 15mm compression fittings. It can be fitted anywhere in the positive pressure side of the system where air is likely to be trapped, although it should be installed in an accessible and visible area to ensure it can be serviced easily.

This product looks and feels durable. Was easy to fit when replacing an existing thermostat. Let’s see if it withstands the rest of time.

Cost effective solution.
This product provided a very cost effective solution to provide a Room Thermostat where none existed before. It was simple to install, but it is too early to comment on its accuracy. I have not found it necessary to use their tech support so cannot comment on its standard. I feel it would be helpful if the instructions had an illustration clearly showing the position of the âpairingâ black button with guidance about how to remove the control dial to access it. Although this action will not be necessary in most instances, it is an easy fix that needs better explanation.

I recently upgraded my old thermostat to this new gas boiler thermostat and I’m genuinely impressed. Installation was straightforward, with clear instructions, and it automatically synced with my boiler controller without any issues.If you want simplicity its a simple wheel with LCD temperature display

Great little thermostat.
Replaced a poorly positioned wired thermostat.Easy enough to wire the receiver after a little research; the old one was just the two wires whilst this one required the neutral, which luckily was present but just cut back.The new one is quick to repond to the temperature change and the activation of the boiler is instant.It keeps the temperature very close to the set point with very little swing. No more do I find myself thinking that it’s a bit on the cold side and the heating should kick in any time now!! Likewise, it doesn’t overshoot the setpoint like the old one.Another good addition is the TPI setting. From my understanding this cycles the boiler on and off whilst heating as opposed to firing it constantly until the set point is reached. This reduces the amount of gas used whilst incorporating the residual warmth in the system in to the heating cycle.Very pleased with the item.

Very good value. Easy to fit and easy to use. One star off because the display doesnât light up when you adjust, like others I have fitted, so you have to turn the lights on to set the temperature.
