Decent results at a great price if you temper your expectations
Let me just explain that review title. I almost gave this product a 4 star review – but based on price and actual use cases I’m quite happy to bump this up to a 5. It’s currently sat at £26.99 which I think makes this a great little package.We picked this up as my partner does a fair bit of scrapbooking – most recently places we’ve visited on our caravanning trips. She thought this might be a good item to use “on the road” as pictures could be printed off straight away. Obviously we knew the printed images would be black and white but so many images seemed very ‘blown out’ in terms of white balance. This may take a fair bit of pre-tweaking the photos first to get the outputted images to look decent.Set up is pretty straight forward. Charge up the printer (or leave it attached to a USB power source) and switch on. Download the TinyPrint app (QR code is in the instructions) – this appears to be the only way to print to this device. Once in the app pairing to your phone is quite straight forward. Select an image and print – it takes about 15 seconds. All good stuff.The thermal paper is inserted into the front of the unit by opening a flap. I found this REALLY difficult to do. You need to squeeze both sides of the unit while lifting the flap up. I just couldn’t get a grip on this – so I ended up lying the unit on its side and pushing down on it to get the most force. This bit is a giveaway as to it being a bit of a cheap device! Having said that it does at least feel quite sturdy. The rolls of paper seem to be a standard size and they’re all over Amazon to pick up. Included in the pack are 5 spare rolls of standard paper and 5 of adhesive backed ones – plus paper already loaded in the printer! Again – pretty good value.So all-in-all a pretty good little set depending on what you want from it. You’re not going to be framing any of these prints but for uses like ours or for something the kids can use this is well recommended.

Pretty happy with this, even if it’s “for kids”
This small thermal printer is marketed for kids first and foremost, and mostly the app that links to it will have such appropriate features: fun patterns, bubbles in which to write, etc. It is obviously for a younger audience… but, that said, I have also found good uses for it for adults. For instance, I can use it to print a shopping list, or to print my train tickets on the go — the printer is small and light-weight, therefore very easy to take with me on the go, and since there have been instances in the past where portals at some stations were unable to scan tickets’ QR codes from my phone’s screen, I tend to always bring a paper version with me just in case. This printer turned out to be ideal for this, actually.The printer itself, as said, is small and easy to carry even in a smaller bag if need be. Its battery has been lasting longer than I thought for the moment, and connecting it to my phone was very easy (all is done from the Tiny Print app you need to install, relying on Bluetooth connection–it took a grand 10 seconds to set up, really).The printing quality is good–not great, of course, it’s a black and white thermal printer, but better than what I expected. I was able to print nice pictures of my cat; it will work better with pictures that have contrasts, and fares less well when there are a lot of greyscale/colour variations, but again, that’s kind of expected with this type of printer. It’s been super for speech bubbles and lineart to colour (I like sticking such little things in my dreams diary).The printer comes already loaded with a roll of thermal paper, and you get 5 more rolls + 5 sticker paper rolls in the box too. So this can last quite a while until you’ll need to resupply.

Handy thermal printer
Very comprehensive thermal printing kit. Everything you need is in the box including the printer, cable for charging, thermal rolls (5 sticker back, 5 regular) and some free little stickers. It’s small enough to be portable. There is an app to use to print from that has some designs to print like memo sheets, lists etc, or you can print a picture. Obviously this is all in black and white and the print quality is okay but not great. It’s a thermal printer after all. The app itself is a little basic and limited. It’s clearly designed for another market and several tabs are inaccessible to UK users, in fact they crash the app if you try and use them.This would be ideal as a fun printer for young children to use for scrapbooks or diaries. I myself find it very handy to be able to generate a shopping list I can just print and give to someone else or take with me, or for last minute reminders. I’ve also used it to print a note for someone else so they don’t have to decipher my writing!All in all, it’s a good little set for the price and a handy thing to have.

Très bonne surprise avec cette mini imprimante portable ! Elle est vraiment compacte, légère, et tient facilement dans un sac. La connexion Bluetooth se fait sans souci, que ce soit avec Android ou iOS — ça prend deux minutes à installer et c’est prêt à imprimer.L’impression en noir et blanc est nette, parfaite pour des listes, des petites notes, des étiquettes ou même des photos stylisées façon rétro. Pas besoin d’encre ni de toner, ce qui est un vrai plus niveau praticité et économie. Elle fonctionne avec du papier thermique et deux types sont fournis, ce qui permet de varier un peu selon les besoins.Je m’en sers au quotidien pour organiser mes affaires, imprimer des pense-bêtes ou même décorer des carnets. C’est simple, rapide et ça marche à chaque fois.Pour le prix, c’est un super outil à avoir sous la main, aussi bien pour les créatifs que pour les fans d’organisation. Je recommande vivement !

Mini stampante termica, che stampa in bianco e nero e permette di poter stampare direttamente dal cellulare. In generale non parliamo di stampa fine art, nè di una stampa fotografica di qualità, è più che altro un modo semplice e rapido per avere una foto in bianco e nero in pochi secondi e ovunque, ma chiaramente con tutta una serie di limiti che sono evidenti dal prezzo estremamente basso.Compreso con la mini stampante ci sono ben 10 rotoli, di cui la metà di carta termina normale e 5 rotoli di carta adesiva.Diciamo che pur non essendo un prodotto eccelso, devo dire che per molti utilizzi risulta estremamente comoda, basti pensare alle etichette per le spedizioni. Comoda e leggera e ricaricabile con USB C.Consigliata
