Battery life will vary according to doorbell usage. The 120-day battery life is a lab-tested result for 30 events per day and 10 seconds per recording.
It’s recommended to use a high speed microSD card which is above class 10 and its read and write speed is greater than 10MB/s.
The system works with all microSD cards that are Class 10 and above and that have a maximum capacity of 128GB.

Best on the market
Very easy to install.A lot of the negative reviews seem to be about things in the app. The app isn’t laid out the best but all the options are there, such as sensitivity, the alarm and night vision.Image quality is fantastic and no complaints with the night vision. Sound quality is good. We live in a really windy area and can hear voices clearly. My only gripe is that the doorbell isn’t as loud as I would like it to be….I can hear it okay but I would appreciate it a lot louder….and like I said before with the app, it’s got everything on it but it’s not the easiest to navigate.Battery seems fine. In 2 weeks I’ve used 7% of the battery and it doesn’t take long to charge.You need a micro SD card for saving clips (even to your phone) and for changing the sound of your doorbell. The device doesn’t use up much space at all and you will be totally fine with a 16gb card and maybe even an 8gb.

Great value and quality video doorbell
Got this to replace a no brand one from this website. Got a really good price. You put a memory chip in the plug. The camera battery lasts ages. Great quality images and night vision. Easy to set up. Good connectivity, flawless- my old one hardly worked. I havenât managed to have a 2 way conversation yet but incoming sound is good. Storage capacity is a memory chip so no issues there. Notifications are easy to manage, you can set up a trigger zone to stop it going off all the time.

What I like about the doorbell:Professionally packaged and what looks like a good instruction book.Good advice about where to and where not to position the doorbell.Good reviews on Amazon in the main and now it is fitted and has been working for 24 hours, it does exactly what it says on the tin so far ( if you remember that advert)?The notification system works well and once I got used to the tricky app I found how to change the ring tones.Itâs fairly easy to share with others in the house.There is a slight delay when talking to someone using the doorbell but apparently this is normalð¤What I donât like about the doorbell:The instructions for set up are not easy and I needed to go through the process several times to get it to pair and work with the chime.I could not find mention of a supplied mini SD card – there isnât one! You can though be tempted by the cloud storage offered. Given the product is promoted as subscription free, I would have expected an SD card in the box.I bought it in the Amazon spring sale, so saved 30% off the retail price. If I had paid the full asking price I think I would be a bit miffed.If anything changes over time I will add to this review.

One of the worst customer service teams and set of policies that I have ever come across
I ordered this doorbell in February 2024.The charge didn’t last very long, even with reduced video quality and range settings. Despite the fact that the doorbell was only activated approximately 4 times per day, the charge only lasted about 10 days at a time. As this was my first video doorbell I didn’t realise this wasn’t normal but it was quite annoying, continually having to take it down to recharge.Then about 9 months later, I realised that i couldn’t hear my doorbell upstairs very well, so I contacted Eufy (this is their own amazon shop) and asked for advice on whether there was a chime extender that was compatible. They replied recommending a chime extender that I then bought.However when I tried to link this chime extender to the doorbell it wouldn’t work. So I again contacted their customer service to ask for help. Several days of too-ing and fro-ing later they admitted that an AI bot had actually answered me (not a human) and had made a mistake and there wasn’t a chime compatible with this doorbell. So I had spent time and money buying a useless chime. I talked via e-mail (very slow each time) to their customer-service team and when I mentioned that my charge only lasts about 10 days we all concluded that perhaps my doorbell is faulty. They advised I turned down some settings and check – which I did – so about 4 -6 weeks later after they first insisted in my trying things that they suggested and waiting to see if the charge lasted longer (it didn’t). But yes – faulty.So now I had a faulty doorbell product which I had had for (by this time) nearly 11 months, and a chime that I couldn’t use. So I suggested that they let me send back both (I had original packaging for both too all in good condition) and they replace it for a different model so that I can have a chime extender – offering to pay the difference. This was surely the best solution for everybody. But they wouldn’t even entertain this possibility even though they’d sold me a faulty product and an incompatible doorbell chime.Eventually they agreed to replace my faulty doorbell. They then sent another doorbell which didn’t work at all – it wouldn’t pair. This whole replacement process took several weeks because they are so so slow at responding properly, each time only half answering. They also do that infuriating thing of apologising for ‘your frustration’ when actually they should be apologising for their faulty product and for your wasted time and money and for their poor advice!!!Every time you contact the customer service team even if you reply to them literally 1 minute later, there is always at least 24 hours until their next response, sometimes much longer. This is just not good enough. They also obviously use a lot of AI – not entirely sure if anybody I ‘spoke’ to on the e-mail was human to be honest as there was so much cut-and-paste style bland hollow repetition. This means that even a simple matter takes about a week to advance because they don’t answer all of the questions. This is extremely annoying and quite disrespectful of their customer’s time and makes you feel very invaluable and not believed by them.They have now (finally) sent me a working version of this produt which seems OK and the charge lasts much longer – great. they gave me a refund for my chime too. But I still am not happy as I would have rather had all this time saved and they sent me a doorbell with a chime extender and charged me the extra.Their customer service is ridiculously bad.If you buy a product form this company and it is faulty, I’d suggest complaining to Amazon rather than their pathetic customer service team as you are more likely to get your money back quickly and efficiently that way so that you can start again.This doorbell is OK if you have a small-ish house. If you have a larger house or if you don’t get a working one first time – good luck. In that case I’d buy one of their wired doorbells with a homebase and a chime extender.

Great hardware, but 5G users beware â limited remote access without VPN
The camera itself is excellentâgood resolution, solid battery life, and generally reliable⦠unless youâre on mobile data.If youâre using a 5G mobile network, you may find that live view and notifications wonât connect unless youâre on Wi-Fi or using a VPN. This is because Eufyâs system uses P2P streaming, which fails under modern CG-NAT mobile networks (standard on most UK and EU carriers).I confirmed this with Eufy support after extensive testing, and they acknowledged itâs a firmware limitation with no current fallback to a cloud relay. Itâs being âlooked intoâ for future updates, but for now, remote mobile access is limited unless you tunnel via a VPN.Hopefully this gets addressed soonâitâs a great product otherwise, but this could be a dealbreaker for some.

Easy setup, initialy the Ringbell/base was not woring at all.No problem with the camera unit.I tracked it down to the connector with the plug adapter on the doorbell.Had to bend the little connectors to make proper contact…Once that sorted , easy set up, signal strength OK, good detection capability.Without the little contactor problem, it would be a 5 star, but if I had no interest in fixing things,I would have had to return it…
