Does the job while being quite quiet. Simple to use as and when you need, and its been a great addition to my set up. I tend to prefer owing physical audiobook CDs too, so its been great being able to listen some great ones over the last few days.It looks good on my desk too and is out of the way.

The device appears to be faulty
The device appears to be faulty. The tray keeps opening automatically, even when it is closed and not in use. Additionally, it consistently fails to burn DVDs. When I attempt a simple burn, the drive reports that no disc is present, then tries to load repeatedly before ultimately failing. Very unhelpfully seller.

Not plug + play. Pretty poor set up overall but plays ok + is cheap …..
USB C not recognised by my laptop so had to try adaptor – worked by changing USB C plug to USB A + then back via adaptor to USB C!! Laptop hasn’t got USB A socket (hence why I bought thisð¤â¹ï¸) – worked via USB A to C adaptorð¤ð¤¯This is NOT plug + play as it requires a driver or DVD player/record software.Still, I picked it up for under £12 so am not going to stress – it will be handy for travel and it is slim so will fit easily in laptop bag. It is quite quiet.Had I paid full price this would be a 2* review and a return, but for the price + convenience I’ll give it an extra starð¤ªð¤ªDon’t buy it if you are unfamiliar with dvd drivers and software etc.
