Failed after 6 weeks but quickly replaced.
Bought as the laptop I have does not have a cd/dvd drive as most don’t now. Worked brilliantly for the first 6 weeks then just died . Disc motor has failed as the drive just clicks and buzzes. Disappointed as it was really good. Return window has closed – let’s see if we can get it fixed / replaced. Edit : supplier very quickly arranged a replacement unit to be sent. Very pleased with supplier response – great customer care ð

Not just plug and play. Some set up needed. Lead too short.
Although laptop and windows version compatible, had trouble getting it set up and had to download an app to drive it, so not JUST plug in and play and for us non techy oldies, this was a nightmare trying to find how to change DVD area as it was not obvious what to do and it was just hit and miss. Probably took me the best part of an hour to figure it out. And I say again, it was not just plug in and play. Also, the lead is too short!

Works a treat, great value
I previously bought a cheaper £8 DVD Player but it wouldn’t play anything and my Windows !! PC wouldn’t recognise it. So I thought I’d select a player that has thousands of good reviews and few bad ones and chose this one. OK, It cost £10 more but plays CD audio, DVD movies and DVD Rom, with no problems at all, plus this machine has the added convenience of acting as a hub too, so it’s great for connectivity also.For those interested in aesthetics, the wording on the top of the player is illuminated with varying colours whilst connected to the pc.
