These lights are incredibly bright if you want some form of white only. As soon as you ask for any other colour they are probably 20% of the brightness of the white. They do work and respond to Google Home automation well, setup was a doddle. I had 8 of these set up in our kitchen within 10 mins. The only weak point is the brightness when in colour mode.

Bought these for my parents kitchen. They’d previously purchased some cold white bulbs that just didn’t look right, but couldn’t decide on which temp to replace with.
White (from warm to cool) is absolutely fine. but if you select red or blue or any colour other than white, at 100% it’s really what any normal person would consider 10% brightness. I have other LED bulbs where the colours still fill the room and need turning down.
It’s achieved what they want, being able to change between cool and warm white, so they’re happy to keep them. If it were my kitchen, I think I’d return them.
Update: out of 6 bulbs, they randomly fail to turn on. Always seem to end up with 1 or 2 off. Would not recommend them at all.

Good but doesnât always do what you want
The bulbs overall are quite good but some features donât work correctly. For example, when using the Alexa to change the brightness it will not go over 60% brightness but will when you use their own app.

Very bright and responsive
I brought these to replace all the spotlights in the house I just moved to.
Smart switch caused issues with bulbs so it was just easier to replace them instead. Iâm glad I did.
The white light on these is very bright. I understand people points about how the colour isnât anywhere near as bright so if youâre just starting out with smart bulbs itâs something you might notice.
I barely transition outside of daylight, warm and white light these days so these bulbs have been perfect.
I did have some initial trouble with getting all of them to show in the Alexa app. But I eventually got that sorted with a bit of persistence.
They showed up in smart home straight away though.
So I took it as more of an Amazon problem than one with the lights.
Would definitely recommend. If white light is your main requirement.

Smart Bulbs works with Alexa
These smart bulbs are excellent but I found out that app for these smart bulbs failed 4 times out of 1 bulb that worked. So the best app to download for these bulbs is Smart Life app. It was quickly setup and it worked straight away much better app for these smart bulbs. Very happy with my purchase.
