Fantastic webcam! The picture is crystal clear! It’s so easy to use, simply plug into your laptop or computer and it’s ready to go straight away. There’s no need to download or install anything.The stand is excellent too, you can maneuver it to any position and height. You can also use the camera upside down and change the settings of the camera too.

Excellent Quality Webcam for Video Calls â Easy Setup
Iâve been using the Eye Contact 1080P Webcam for a few weeks now, and itâs been great for both work and personal video calls. The 1080P resolution provides sharp and clear video, and the microphone picks up sound well without distortion. The stand is sturdy, and the 95° field of view gives a good angle for video conferencing.The plug-and-play functionality makes it incredibly easy to set up â I simply plugged it into my PC, and it worked right away without needing to install any extra software. Itâs compatible with both macOS and Windows, which is perfect for my mixed device setup.The only reason Iâm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the autofocus can sometimes be a little slow, especially in low light settings. However, this is a minor issue, and it doesnât affect the overall performance too much.

Not great as a web cam, but ok for use on fixed focus table based tasks
This one gets a generous 3* from me.It is unfortunately a pretty mediocre webcam, with mediocre video and audio quality, and manually set fixed focus. That loses it a lot of points in my book really, and if not for the mount, I’d given it a pretty generous 2* instead since there are better webcams out there for the money, and for a webcam the manual focus really works against it rather than for it since people tend to move and the focus seems pretty fussy. Also although the mount does add something to this most camera don’t have, I personally wouldn’t be clipping this on to screens, the clamp is pretty firm which is going to put a lot of pressure on your screen bezels, and that’s assuming you even have something that is becoming increasingly rare, a large enough bezel.It does however thanks to the mount have a pretty interesting niche use. As a document scanner, a TTRPG who streams, or videoing a hands on process, this is a perfect cheap little thing to clamp to a table, in a fixed position, and then manually focus on a specific area. It’s not the best for this use, and the camera quality could be better with a different solution, but for a cheap, compact, all in one way to meet the needs of this particular use case, it’s ok.

My home office tends to get the afternoon sun so this has been perfect to be angle against the light properly. Great camera quality and no issues with connectivity to my work devices. Great value.

Flexible, adjustable with a good holding clip
I’ve always wanted to try out one of these cameras, as I use a separate monitor so always have the issue of my eyes pointing off in different directions when on TEAMs calls. It can be a bit fidly to set up getting the right angle, but once done there wasn’t an issue for me. The arm is very flexible so can get you from most angles, and the clip seems very strong. I also got another one for my laptop as the camera has failed on that – very useful when working remotely. It’s also good value for money, when you consider how dear some other cameras like this are.

Good 1080p (30fps) Webcam with a very useful flexible arm for positioning
This Webcam gives a clear 1080p picture even in quite dim light with manual focus, orientation and exposure controls easy to adjust on the camera itself (no need to waste time searching for fiddly software settings). The 30fps framerate is just right for online video calls both for professional business orientated meetings and interviews and for fun casual family/friends video chats. The ability to position this camera very securely almost anywhere in the room is very useful, a huge advantage over a fixed laptop webcam for example and the clarity of the image from this camera will be an improvement over many cheap built-in webcams (often limited to 720p). By positioning the camera close to you, you also get better audio pickup from the microphones, and it is indeed possible to always ensure you have good “eye-contact” with the camera (and the person on the other end of the video call) rather than looking at some weird, awkward angle from your fixed camera. The clamp is big and strong and will clamp to even quite thick bookshelves and tables. The flexible arm (“gooseneck”) is quite stiff but this ensures a very steady image from the camera. I can easily recommend this if you are looking for a good value camera upgrade for online video calls.

Shocking video quality, I decided not to use in the end, good holder not perfect for a monitor
I was looking forward to use this webcam, I unboxed and installed, took few seconds to install, but then tried to use it is when things went wrong, the video quality of the camera was pretty poor, shocking-in-fact, I could not get it to focus properly on my face whilst trying it out for a video conference, also the audio was not as clear as my original built-in Mic.The good about this webcam is no-driver-required, but then it didn’t perform as I was expecting.The wire holder is a nice idea, it could’ve been a 5/5 review if the webcam did its job in the end as I really liked the idea.

Iâve only used it once but it served its purpose. Iâm no techy and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to adjust some settings but turned out to just be a button to flip the orientation. It would be nice if the neck was a little stiffer because I had to over adjust it to account for sag. But if you can get over minor inconvenience itâs worth the price.

I work from home and have a multi-monitor setup and have numerous meetings/day. I got tired of projecting a ‘image’ either looking up my nose with the camera too low, or at my forehead with the camera too high. This one is really a great answer! Yes, it does obscure a SMALL portion of your screen (less than 1 sq inch) and the flex neck allows me to ‘shove’ it out of the way when not needing it. A very nice webcam and well worth it.

This camera is exactly what I thought it would be from the description. The picture quality is great and I’ve had zero problems using it for my WGU exams. There’s also a very nice storage bag.
