Surprisingly practical and good quality
Brilliant tool to have if you’re an avid book horder! I use it to catalogue my book collection and the scanner makes it so much faster. You could use your mobile phone camera but this is far quicker and more ergonomic on the hands when scanning a lot. It comes with a super handy QR code “glossary” for settings for gun so it’s very quick to make adjustments to sound, auto sleep etc. plenty of online “libraries” that are compatible with the gun. The quality feels good and the Bluetooth function makes it easy to move around the room when scanning. The price isn’t unreasonable but better if you can catch a deal like I did.

Working well with UK format keyboard emulation and QR codes as expected.
It works. UK keyboard selection works too, so 2D QR code scans and characters come back as expected. Good for reading JSON formatted data from the QR barcode. 1D barcodes also working, numbeds as expected. As for how long it will work will have to wait and see.

Perfect solution for grading as a teacher
The device simply acts as a keyboard. As such a qr code with comments for my students, is a perfect way for me to grade their work faster.I set up a sheet of paper with qr codes and then open the document I would normally type in. The device works perfectly and is wireless.

Eyoyo 2D Bluetooth Barcode Scanner Wireless, 2500mAh Handheld Cordless USB Wired QR Bar Code Reader
A handled scanner that works with not only your desktop PC/Mac but also directly with your mobile phone.Chargeable by USB and can scan many types of codes such as barcodes and QR codes.Fairly pricy but considering the features id say its value for money.

Easy 2.4Ghz Dongle Connection means you’ll be scanning in seconds
So easy to use this – insert 2.4ghz dongle into PC, pull the trigger, and it’ll start working.I used this to catalogue many, many books and it saved me hours upon hours of typing the barcodes in manually. The scanner is very lightweight with an easy trigger pull, completely wireless, and there’s a small space in the handle to put the 2.4ghz usb dongle in when not in use, as to not lose it. A nice touch.Comes boxed with a USB cable and a manual which has an awful lot of QRcodes in it, making it very personable – just scan the code to initiate the effect (such as enabling EAN + extra numbers, add prefix or suffix etc)The USB cable is not standard and is the same as you would find with a printer, so don’t lose it.You can also connect via bluetooth by holding the trigger down for 8 seconds to enable pairing.Overall it’s a very nice bit of kit, an essential for small businesses for effective stock management or if you simply want to catalogue a huge collection for insurance purposes. It is relatively expensive at £44.99 but the quality is there.

Well-designed barcode scanner with many features
This device is a handheld 2D and 3D code scanner. The scanner has a built-in battery (chargable via USB) and is designed for connecting to a computer. The connection is possible through three methods, bluetooth, wireless (with dongle) or USB. The scanner can scan many types of code, including retail barcodes, QR codes and data matrices.I found this device to be really impressive. For one, the range of codes it can scan is very impressive. It’s important to note that the device comes with a very thorough instruction booklet, detailing how to enable or disable scanning of various types of codeâthis means you can set the scanner to just scan the type of code you want, or to scan all codes if you want. The connection options are very useful, though I found the USB option worked best for me (I didn’t have any issue using it wirelessly though). So to are the feedback options, beeping and vibrating when it sucessfully identifies a code. There’s also an interesting option where it can be used without a computer, and the device stores the codes itself, then dumps them later once it’s connected to a computer. The scanner feels really good quality and it did a good job identifying the codes I tested it with. Overall, this is a really useful device that I definitely recommend if you’re looking for something like this.

The dedicated dongle was a stroke of genius. It’s essentially plug-and-play, so after the initial pairing, you don’t have to go searching your computer or BT device to pair it each time (btw it supports HID, SPP and BLE). Unfortunately, the port is USB-A, so if you want to use the dongle on your phone or tablet, you’ll need a small female adapter. Otherwise, just use BT. Interestingly enough, the USB cable is pretty thick and charge time is way faster than I was expecting. But the only button on the device is the trigger that essentially acts as an MFB. So there’s no power on/off or pairing button. Obviously that makes things pretty easy if you know how to access the modes, and it doesn’t ping unless you plug in the dongle or enter the pairing mode. What’s kinda cool is that the manual comes with QR codes for the different scanner features and all you have to do to enter them is scan the code. Marvellous feature. As for build quality, it’s actually pretty basic. It’s mostly a lightweight hollow plastic, but with exceptional resin density. Despite the lack of any rubberized dampeners, it feels like it could take a decent beating. Probably the reason it doesn’t come with any buttons on it in the first place. Unfortunately, the little indentation for the dongle is right on the bottom of the handle and pointing downwards, so if you’re not using it, it might be a good idea to either take it out or really jam it in there. It’s just a pressure-fit so it doesn’t click into place. The ergonomics on the handle are great though. Perfect size and length for my hand, with an ideal angle to the head so it’s incredibly comfortable to hold. The plastic is perfectly smooth too so it’s very easy to wipe clean. The speaker on the top is super loud and the light is easy to see. Kind of a minimalistic design to be sure, with no screen or battery life indicators (you can get the battery life data by scanning a code in the manual); but it would’ve been nice to at least have a silicone plug for the port on the bottom, as well as a more secure place for the dongle. As for function, I haven’t had the connection or battery fail on me yet, and I’ve mostly been using it on normal mode, where the data immediately gets transferred into my spreadsheet. The transfer lag is effectively zero when using the dongle, and there are at least 2 other devices on my desk that use the 2.4 Ghz band, so it doesn’t seem to be bothered by background interference. Fortunately, when using bluetooth, you can even slow the transmission time using the QR codes in the manual if your device is dropping characters. So yeah, with the lack of a screen or any nav buttons, making sure you keep the manual with the device is essential. Heck there’s even a QR code for disabling QR.One thing I will say is that the description above only mentions 2 scanning modes – manual and continuous, but there really is a third auto-sensing mode. So the graphic is correct. Of course, the only way to access the modes is….you guessed it, to scan the appropriate code in the manual, and they ALL work according to my tests, inputting the data according to the output mode you originally set.So yeah, despite the rather mediocre build quality out of the box, this little thing works great! Very simple design, and as long as you keep the manual handy, very easy to navigate the features. Feels like playing an FPS sometimes. Definitely gets the thumbs up from me.

I have wanted one of these FOREVER the idea of being able to scan all your books into a digital library to keep track of is way to satisfying it lets you see what volumes your missing, where you are in certain series etc all on your phone or other mobile device so if you are out and happen into the store you know what books you want to be on sale… Now clearly this is the fun reason to have one but if you are a small business just starting out or aren’t at ‘warehouse’ level yet but have a couple dozen products this is a great way to track what is going out and what you still have in stock you can create your own scan labels and use them on your product bins etc to track outgoing orders and you know what you need to order and what you don’t no more manual counts. And it can help complete the shipping process when your fullfilling orders you can scan your tracking labels right into the customer order so you don’t have to type out the numbers and make sure its all right. Its a very versatile tool and it has alot of compatibility across multiple platforms I would recommend it to anyone that has been considering getting one this is a great option to help ease business stress and its great for tracking books. I hope this helps anyone that has questions! Happy amazon-ing!

I needed a reliable barcode scanner for my small business that would be compatible with iPads, laptops, and mobile devices and this Eyoyo scanner was a winner for me The wireless design lets me scan shipments from across the room, no more tripping over cords or yanking gear off desks. The battery lasts for a while. Almost a week for me but it all depends on how much and how many hours you use it for each day. Automatic scanning is awesome for blitzing through boxes or items, and the vibrate mode keeps things silent with silent acknowledgement. Connecting to my iPad and laptop took seconds, no fuss.I had some challenges understanding the settings like how to mute the beep but once I figured it out it was smooth sailing for me. I keep my manual close just so it’s easier to change settings. I really like this scanner and would highly recommend it. Currently selling for $60 with a 20% coupon.

I have never had or used a barcode scanner but I have always wanted one! So I was very excited when this one arrived. It came with the scanner, a charge cable, a dongle inside the scanner, and a very in-depth manual. I love that the manual has lots of different QR codes you can scan for various things like battery power level, volume, and of course, the various types of barcodes you may want it to scan. I set it up with a book app so that I can scan all my books into one place and I did the same with my kid’s books. It was very easy to set up, very easy to use, and worked really well. It was even able to read barcodes that weren’t perfect, like ones that were scuffed up a little. You can use it as basically a ‘plug and play’ type thing with the included dongle which is perfect (it is store in the handle) but you can also link it to your computer with the usb cable as well as via bluetooth. And it is all really easy to do with the info in the manual!

If you need a barcode scanner, then you know what its use is. Most traditional scanners are wired. Typically, they use a USB cable, and older ones would connect to the serial. One of the big advantages of this scanner over the traditional ones is that it’s wireless and rechargeable, like the ones used in Walmart. Of course, those ones are super expensive. But this one is very affordable for what it does. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, mainly to manage inventory in a small warehouse setup. So far, it’s been a reliable scanner. The setup process was straightforward. You get to choose between Bluetooth, WiFi (2.4G), and USB. I mean, depending on what system you are trying to use this scanner with, your preference, and the job’s condition, it’s great to have these options. In my case, since I mainly bring it with me around the warehouse, it’s connected using Bluetooth to my phone. It paired quickly with my laptop, too, and I didn’t have any issue switching between devices. The battery life is another plus for sure. It lasted several days of moderate use without needing a recharge. The scanning capability is impressive. It handles a variety of barcodes, including slightly damaged or smudged ones, without much trouble. Of course, the code needs to be complete. I tried it on both paper labels and screens, and it worked consistently well. I also like the automatic scanning mode, especially for tasks where you need both hands-free. But of course, you need to set up a stand for it. I only hope the user manual was clearer and less complicated. Some settings require scanning specific codes from the manual, which might be confusing at first.Overall, this scanner is a solid choice for performance and price. It’s lightweight and feels comfortable to use for extended periods. If you need something durable and versatile for libraries, warehouses, or retail settings, this is a good option to consider.
