Ease of setup
The setup is simple, and you can secure it in place with a choice of fixture plates. No subscription is required. I’m not keen on the choice of doorbell sounds 20 to choose from, but I would prefer a more traditional bell sound in that choice. But, overall excellent value for money and a quality product.

I already have 3 EZVIZ dome cameras in my house, so it is very compatible!I used to have a Ring Doorbell, but there was an annual subscription of £50 to record video – I wasted £300 the last 6 years!With this set up you just insert a micro SD card into the chime and youâre good to go – great product!

How do you install an SD card?
Its a good video doorbell. But I can’t seem to install the micro sd card. It always fails. I’ve tried many different ones and had them formatted correctly but can’t get one single sd card to work

Bought this twice now – the 1st one was replaced after the camera became misted up , EZVIZ replaced within days so a good result – or so I thought. Last month same problem , camera misted up again , and yes itâs out of the guarantee period. Contacted EZVIZ to which they suggested trying to take the unit apart and dry with a hairdryer or buy a new one! On reflection I should have bought a doorbell suitable for outside – this one is only IP65 rated and not IP66 . This is now replaced with a different make which is waterproof.

The set up was easy and the image was great quality but unfortunately the camera does not react quick enough when a person walks towards it, I would get an alert but all I would see was the back of the person walking away, I tried changing all of the settings but nothing improved, if this could be fixed it would be a great device for the money

Nach vielen bisher genutzten Kameras bin ich nun schon seit Jahren bei diesem Hersteller. Die Einbindung ins WLAN funktioniert einfach schnell und toll. QR Code am FuÃteil der Kamera im Einbindungsprozess gescannt macht die Funktion in der APP alles weitere. Mit der SD Karte die man von unten einschieben kann ist man unabhängig vom ABO für Aufzeichnungen, obwohl das auch sehr gut gemacht ist. Die neueren Baujahre haben den Vorteil, das der Resetknopf auf der Unterseite nicht erst durch Abbau eines Sicherungskunststoffteil erreichbar ist, sondern quasi ein Knopf verbaut wurde. Man sollte allerdings ein Foto vom QR Code schiessen und den auch gut aufbewahren. Nützlich ist dieses Foto dann, wenn sich das WLAN Netz mal verabschiedet. Eine in der Höhe verbaute Kamera dann neu einzubinden macht nicht allzu viel SpaÃ, da der QR Code wie dargestellt am FuÃteil der Kamera dann schlecht zu scannen ist.Ansonsten, alles was man braucht. Tolles Live Bild, sehr gute Aufzeichnungen. Das gut für Nachtsicht und für den Bewegungssensor ist mir geschuldet. Ich hätte gerne noch mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten. Eigentlich sind diese Positionen auch sehr gut.

Purchased this a couple of months ago to catch a light night doorbell ringer. Mission accomplished! Took the video down the street to the offender’s house and showed his Dad, you should have seen the look on his face. Not a happy man. I didn’t want something I had to have a subscription to. This has a micro-SD card slot in the inside ringer that records video when triggered. Works great. Battery life is decent, over 2 months on one charge. No hassle recharging. I give it two thumbs up!

EZVIZ come sempre è un prodotto di fascia commerciale con prestazioni e caratteristiche di prodotti professionali. Non è la prima che acquisto anche perchè ha una facilità di installazione assurda, un’app dedicata fluida, intuitiva e ben fatta. Ovviamente partiamo dal presupposto che tutto è migliorabile anche l’eccellenza. La qualità dei materiali si evince subito iniziando dal pakaging ben fatto curato e con le giuste informazioni presenti. Ogni singolo pesto è imbustato a se, porta già i tasselli per fissarla a muro. La videocamera è fatta in materiale solido e robusto, probabilmente alluminio, orientabile ed installabile a parete o soffitto. La telecamera in questione ha una buona qialità video dandoci abbastanza dettagli per identificare una persona su un balcone o al portone d’ingresso, ovviamente non avremo una definizione del particolare ma nel complesso assolve alla funzione di videosorveglianza. Per intenderci non riusciremo a vedere il tatuaggio di una persona sul braccio, ma avremo una figura nel complesso chiara ed utile ad una prima identificazione generica del soggetto. L’audio è un po disturbato ovvero effetto metallico quindi se vi sono più rumori si ha difficoltà a identificare le parole dette, stessa cosa se nel mentre di una registrazione passa un’auto durante la conversazione si sovrapporrà alle parole delle persone, poi più il soggetto parla nei pressi della videocamera migliore è il suono.

Bought doorbell cam in summer of 2023.Do have to take off the baseplate to charge up the camera.Good news a charge last 6 months.Down fall is each time it needs a charge you end up braking a tab on the baseplate.Contacted the company. EzvizBefore they would answer my question if would they sell me a baseplate.They wanted the SN and a photo of the broken tabs.Note each email is about a 24-48 hour wait.Gave them the S/N explained if I removed the camera the last tab holding it will brake off.Heard back today from ezvizSaid they have no backplate and do not sell backplate.I been going back and fourth with them for a week…If this company has so little care of their products after warranty..And refuses to allow anyone to buy a partI own many cameras indoor and out from ezviz and have been well pleased with there products.But unable to buy a baseplate just takes the cake.
