Great Product great service
I brought a pack of six GU10 Alexa compatible bulbs for my recess in my front room so as to control the lighting I. E . dimmable and colour changing and mood. These bulbs fitted my criteria perfectly, All was fine for a month then i noticed one of the bulbs was glowing very dimly and had lost WiFi connection and was uncontrollable so I set about resetting the bulb using the instructions. I was not able to add this bulb to my system.I then contacted Feconn by e-mail seeking advice on whether there is a way to reset the bulb back to factory setting. In fact I had three or four e-mails from Feconn to try this and that. But none of these tasks solved the problem and we concluded that the bulb was faulty. The company didn’t have any single stock until December when they were due a restock delivery and offered a twin pack that is on Amazon at a 65% discount which I chose to take.All in all I am impressed with the care and attention the customer service department gave me in solving my issue Many thanks to Niiki for a job well done.

Works with Smartthings but bulbs are dim
I bought FECONN MR16 Smart Bulb,5W. I suppose at 5W its not surprising they are a bit dim.Setup was pretty easy and connected to smartthings without much effort, however the colour settings in smartthings sometimes do not always match what the bulb displays, especially at the higher brightness (less saturated) colour levels.

Make sure you are on 2.4Ghz Wifi and turn your bluetooth off!
After receiving the product I was surprised how easily all the bulbs showed up on the Smart Life app. I was though having intermittent connection issues with the bulbs. I then proceeded with contacting the seller who was extremely prompt and even raised it with their technical department who later on pushed updates on my bulbs.I was still having issues and then I realized that somehow, 3 out of the 6 bulbs were actually connecting via bluetooth to smart life and not via the wifi network. I then deleted all 6 from smart life and reinstalled them one by one using the AP method. They work just fine now, like the rest of the smart equipment I have around the house. Turning on / off on schedule and no connection issues at all.Like with most of the smart devices, I think you still need a bit of technical know how to get them to work just the way you’d want but it’s good to see sellers responding quickly and effective communication with end users.Good high quality equipment.

Issues with bulbs
After installing the bulbs and connecting them to my phone all was pretty simple, only then I noticed 1 bulb hated being anything but white and would flicker if it was any other colour or if it was dimmed.Another light when changing colour only chose red trying any colour only makes it different shades of red.Returning this batch and ordered another to see if same faults happen unfortunately they have gone up in price.

Only as good as the app…forget Android, you need iOS.
Smart Life app needed to run these bulbs. The Android version crashes constantly at log in. iOS version mostly seems to work. So you need an iPhone (in my experience).Bulb colours and brightness OK but one out of the six bulbs is dodgy and keeps flickering. Another one refuses to join the group and sync. with the others, but seems happy to be controlled independently.I think I shall be returning these. Shame, as I like the effects they make but too unreliable.

These bulbs were extremely well priced which caught my eye, there were well packed and worked straight out of the box, because I already use the âsmart lifeâ app all I had to do was plug them in one by one and just pressed the add button in the app they appeared straight away pressed continue to name the bulb after that opened up the Alexa app and hey presto Alexa had already found the bulb and also carried the name across couldnât have been any easier, (I pre configured them before installing them in the garden which is always a good idea) so glad I chose these bulbs. I highly recommend them, any questions I will be glad to help.Ps, Iâm using the bulbs to light the garden (garden fancy light 1 through to 6) canât wait to put them out.

I used these in existing Waterproof Garden light housings They have 12 V AC to them. you might want to set them up initially close to a known good strength Wi-Fi but once set they work fine in the garden even with poor Wi-Fi.
