I ended up using this for my oculus and pc and to plug into a storage device I have the other Side the roomFirst off the cable is well made and durable, both ends well made and are protected with plastic caps, its a little thicker than other cables i have used but will say its not really and issue. As im using this with my pc and quest 2 i was happy to see charge capability. Iâm going to say itâs preforming better than my quest cable sadly it does cost more. However canât complain as im getting better speedsTransfer speeds are amazing copying a file 1Gb from mac to the drive was done faster than i have seen it tuck a few seconds and i was happy so now when im transferring large videos from my drone and gopro to my storage drive should be faster.Iâm really happy i got to test this will keep you updated but happy to recommend

Very fast; well made
Measured data speed was in the region of 1200-1500mbps (150-190MB/s), but it may be possible that higher speeds are possible, as my test was transferring a 761MB file in both directions (it took about 5s). While the nominal USB 3.2 max speed is 10,000mbps (10Gbps), it’s realistic to expect a fraction of that as real life throughput. I was testing the 15m version of the cable.The cable does support charging, but I have no way of testing what wattage was being passed.Both USB sockets are rather larger than normal; they are both about the size of a large USB thumb drive – about 4cm long. The cable is a normal looking cable, albeit a little thicker than usual.The cable arrives bound by 3 velcro cable tidy straps, inside a carboard box lined with foam, with the cable itself inside an antistatic bag. The port ends are protected by plastic caps.

This is one of the cables I’ve been testing with my VR equipment. I like the pliancy of this one, it seems more compliant and easy to manuver than the other long-distance fiber USB cables that I have. Data speeds and power are adequate and work about as consistently as normal short cables I have; it does seem a little fussier with what hosts it wants to work with, but that’s technology I guess.

Ich habe daheim eine Pico 4, welche eine deutlich höhere Auflösung bietet als die Quest 2 und nutze diese auch am PC zusammen mit SteamVR und Picos Streaming Assistent zum Zocken. Da der PC aber im Arbeitszimmer steht und ich auch gerne etwas bequemer auf dem Sofa sitzen möchte, kommt mir dieses Glasfaser-Kabel sehr gelegen. Technisch sind USB 2 und besonders USB 3.x Kabel wenige Meter limitiert. Zum einen wegen des Spannungsabfalls. Ohne einen Repeater sind da mehr als 5-6 Meter nicht drin. Genau hier sind Glasfaser-Kabel, wie ich sie schon von HDMI Kabeln kenne, absolut genial.Ich kann gemütlich auf dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer sitzen (circa 10m Kabellänge entfernt) und bequem mit meiner VR Brille zocken. Einziges Manko ist der USB-C Stecker für die VR Brillen macht es sich am besten, wenn man noch einen 90Grad Winkeladapter kauft, damit das Kabel dann nach hinten weg geht. :)Bild und Steuerung ist super und auch stabil. Das Kabel ist 1A und ich habe daheim schon einige Kabel von FIBBR im Einsatz, wenn auch bisher nur HDMI Kabel. Damit das Kabel entsprechend lange hält, sollte es nicht zu stark geknickt werden. Gewickelt sollte der Durchmesser mindestens 15-20cm betragen. Ansonsten könnten die Glasfaser durchbrechen und dann ist das Kabel nutzlos.Der Preis ist natürlich etwas happig aber Qualität und Komfort gehen halt vor Preis. Ich könnte ja auch meinen PC ständig bis zum Wohnzimmer schleppen. 😉
