help my bunny to cool down
I use it as a trial with one of my bunnies. so far so good. She seems to be happy and comfortable enough to help cool down with this heat.It was not easy to use at first because it’s slippery, but i left it on my bunny’s cage where she sleeps, and she was sleeping on it for a couple of hours. However, it gets warm, so not sure it cools down the bunnies for a long time. But i have used it outside the cage afterwards, it was cold again quite quickly, and my bunny has been using it outside of her cage as well, so I guess it helps her to cool down. I will probably get another one for my second bunny as it seems to work.

It works just not for my bun
Cools really well and is of great quality and good value for money, not very thick so it looks nice but as for comfort….turns out alot of rabits don’t like reflections so I have to put down a blanket for my bun who just pulls it up but think that’s on the bun

Not a great size for a fully flopped bunny
It’s getting hotter all the time and my bunnies live indoors for the most part.Where their outdoor run is, they’re safe enough because they get a lot of shade. Inside, where I have fans and a ceiling to keep them cool, they’re safe from the weather. But we’re predicted to have near-apocalyptic weather early next week (40 celsius in parts of England) and, even before we knew this was coming, it seemed like a cooling mat for bunnies would be a useful thing to have.This mad weather isn’t coming from nowhere, we’ve had ridiculously hot weather for weeks now, and it’s been getting hotter and hotter for years.Here’s thing problem with this mat: when my bunnies are exhausted and hot, they flop. It’s as if they turn off all their muscles. And a flopped Dutch bunny is a bit too big for this mat. It does stay cool, but I’ll give you some advice. At the time of writing, this mat is just north of £10. I’d be tempted to go to the nearest DIY store and get a large bathroom tile sample for £3.

My daughters guinea pigs live with her at her uni home and it gets really warm there, so she worries about them when it gets too hot.This is an aluminium sheet which is cold to touch, but the guinea pigs really don’t seem to like the cold, even on a hot day!!The sheet is easy to clean and reasonably priced, I just hope in time the pigs will use it – but I would still recommend it even if my daughters won’t!

I have 2 babies, so the buy 2 seemed a great deal! 1 for each. Turns out, regardless how hot it is, they prefer to squish together onto 1 anyway (I’ll have to wait until they grow bigger to see if they’ll take one each). Decided on putting them together in a fitted space and putting a cold flask on one end so the thermoregulating properties of the alu help keep them cool by conduction. They fit great in the Ikea dollbed as well. Easy to clean, easy to take with, tested and approved by actual bunnies in actual hot circumstances.

Ich habe nach einer Alternative zu Kühlakkus gesucht für meine Kaninchen. Beide lieben diese Kühlplatten. Der Artikel ist immer Kühl. Im Kühlschrank sind die Platten noch etwas mehr Kälter und sie bleiben wirklich sehr lange Kalt.

Nos llega dentro de un sobre de cartón serigrafiado y por la parte trasera la forma de uso, eso si, en ingles.Tras sacarlo vemos una placa de aluminio protegida por ambos lados por un plastico que has de quitar.Las medidas que tiene es mas o menos las de un folio y será suficiente para que tu conejo enano pueda refrescarse en las épocas en las que el calor apretó ya que a ellos les puede dar un golpe de calor.Espero que esta reseña te haya sido útil ð.
