Comfortable and cooling
I havenât had this long but it seems to do what it claims to do. My dog normally avoids sleeping on new blankets but in the very few hot days we had in June he was sat on it without any need for encouragement. It has a soft smooth texture and is easy to wipe clean. It feels cool even in the heat. I have not tried washing it yet and I hope it will be as durable as it claims to be. So far Iâm really happy with it.

Disappointed with quality
My dog was happy to lay on it a few times the first hour after receiving it which is a good start as she usually avoids blankets and mats that are not soft and fluffy.Unfortunately it looks cheap and not well made and definately not thick. It was worth trying but wouldnt buy again

My cat’s love them.
One took to it right away and the other took his time but they both love them. I wanted to get them before it gets hot this year. One has very long fur and the other has a thick undercoat. I might even get one myself to put in my bed under my sheets 🙂

Dog Cooling Mat (not Cool)
Bought this for our dog as we normally use the gel type mats. It’s not cool at all it gets hot really quickly.The image in the photo makes this mate look luxurious. It’s far from it! It’s cheaply made and doesn’t feel soft at all. Very thin and cheap looking. Overall not impressed and I wouldn’t recommend this product.

As summer’s heat bore down, this cooling mat became my pet’s sanctuary. The self-cooling ice silk fabric was a stroke of genius, providing my furry friend a much-needed respite from the unforgiving heat. The transition to the colder months was seamless, with the cotton linen back keeping my pet snug. Washing it was no Herculean task, and it retained its integrity through each wash. It proved versatile too, making itself useful in the car, on the floor, and the sofa.

Good idea, shame about the quality
My dogs really like this cool mat. No, it isn’t as cold as the gel alternatives, but I also don’t have to worry that they’ll puncture it just by walking over it, releasing the gel inside and causing it to be immediately binned as has happened with every other gel mat I’ve tried.The ice silk layer is as expected silky and cool, providing at least some relief in hot weather. Ice silk is also known as viscose (or rayon), so I was a little concerned about washing and staining, but so far I’ve washed it twice without any issue.However, the silk layer has already started to pull away from the outer fabric in one spot, revealing the stuffing beneath, so I’m not sure how long it will last long term. It has already outlasted all the gel mats I’ve tried, but a week isn’t much of a record to beat.Which is a real shame because my dogs do genuinely enjoy lying on it. The overall idea is good, but the finish quality definitely lets it down.
