Excellent piece of kit at a silly price!
If you have a Fuji X mirror-less camera and also some old M42 screw thread lenses, then this is the kit for you. Fit this between the camera and the lens and you have a perfect, stable conjunction between the two.It has been made out of what appear to be good materials, brass I believe, with what appears to be good metal mounts at either end.There is, of course a down side to using these adapters and that is that you have to manually focus the lens, manually set the aperture, and because of the crop factor of the APS-C sensor a 50mm lens is halved again and becomes a brilliant 75mm portrait lens, but with the advantages of the 50mm lens – in other words the depth of field remains the same, as does the aperture so you do not lose any speed of the lens with this adapter. For an example if the 50mm lens was a f1.4, then on this adapter it becomes a 75mm f1.4!! Try buying one of those for this sort of money.Many may find this a backward step, but it is something that you soon get used to doingThe advantages are that M42 screw thread lenses can still be acquired cheaply by today’s standards, some as cheap as £20-30. Add the prices of the adapter and you still have a very cheap lens, especially when you consider that Fuji XF lenses tend to sell at about £500-600, and remember a lot of these old lenses are built solidly of metal and glass with hardly a glimpse of plastic anywhere. Treated well will last a lifetime as well as given brilliant results.

Fits well, good product, good value.
The product is the Olympus OM mount to a Fuji X series mount.The object of the exercise is to try and use 3 OM prime lenses, 35mm, 50mm and 135mm, on the Fuji X-A2 mirrorless camera.Very fast delivery, well packaged.The adapter is well made and looks good.Initially the OM lenses did not seem to lock in the adapter and fell off, other reviewers have had the same problem, but… the OM lens have a little button on the side which you press to hold in the metal latching catch, if I held in the catch and then turned the lens firmly in the adapter it locked perfectly. The adapter was easy to attach to the Fuji camera, turn and click.So the adapter now fits snugly.I have only had chance to take a few photographs, remember the lenses are manual lenses, so set the aperture on the lens, perhaps set the focus to infinity on the lens and then on the camera(Fuji specific) set the option take photos without a lens, use aperture priority and manual focus. To get good photos you need to understand and practice these techniques.To buy 3 almost equivalent Fuji lenses would cost nearly 4000 pounds, the adapter with delivery was less than 25 pounds.

It worked on my Fujifilm X-Pro2 but noticed the Olympus lens sat crooked on the adapter. And I did fiddle around. The lock is not placed in the correct position. Works but ‘optically’ a pain in the neck. Ordered an Urth instead, see wether this has better end control. It needs to look good😀 too.

Je l’ai depuis plus d’un an maintenant et je ne regrette pas, pas de jeu, pas de dégradation précoce. Je sens que la fixation remplie bien son travail, cela semble très solide. Bien sûr, cet article ne gère pas l’auto focus mais cela nous force a prendre le coup de main en manuel 😜Je recommande !!!

Llevo unos cuantos días con el adaptador y estoy bastante contento. Comentar que viene en caja de carton pero sin tapas, viendo otros modelos si parecen incluir tapas así que no entiendo esa falta en algunos…NO he usado otros de Nikon así que no puedo comparar… he visto que otros tienen anillo de apertura (para modelos G) y me preguntaba si eso podría usarse junto al anillo de apertura de la propia lente (la que tenga) para en lente seleccionar apertura y el anillo del adaptador a efectos de previsualizar DOF, pero me parece que no… así que de momento para las lentes que tengo no le vería más utilidad a ese extra.Encaja perfectamente al cuerpo, de forma solida y sin holguras. Todas las lentes hasta ahora igual. Sujeta bien la lente y la liberación sencilla con el botón del lateral. Vienen los puntos rojos para indicar como montarlos de un vistazo (importante) y en general todo parece cuidado.Lo del enfoque a infinito… veo mucha gente comentando esa tontería en algun modelo del adaptador; depende de la lente y qué intentes adaptar a qué cuerpo, nada tiene que ver con que el adaptador esté mal (en general). De Nikon a Fuji sin problemas.Lo que no puedes es adapar ninguna lente a Nikon sin perder enfoque a infinito. Y será así con cualquier adaptador a no ser que pongas un cristal entre medias y pierdas calidad. En todo caso eso me parece fallo del comprador que no tiene ni idea de qué compra y por qué no del producto.
