Great value, compact and lightweight solar panel, 5*
The product arrived well packaged in a solid box. The instructions are clear and in multiple languages. Itâs easy to set-up; screw on the bracket, point the panel at the sun and plug the USB C connector into your device.You should make sure your device is USB C, older cameras may have the micro USB connector which is different, but looks similar. You can get converters, but itâs another joint that water can get into, so not ideal. The quality cable, nice and thick, is just under 3M in length, so plenty long enough for normal use.How much charge you get from the device is difficult to tell, but as a test, it re-charged one of my torches pretty quickly.I was expecting something a little bigger, although dimensions do appear in a photo in the advertisement.A couple of very minor points. I would have liked the option of double sided tape to mount the product, rather than using the plug/screws provided. Also, if the cable plugged into the body of the panel, you could use one with a micro USB connector, should you require that fitting and also chose a cable the exact length required.Overall a great value compact panel.

It provides enough power that cut the necessity of the installation of a 5V cable to the battery camera.Convenient Charging: The solar panel keeps my battery camera charged continuously, eliminating the outdoor battery cameras that are hard to access.Easy Installation: The installation process was straightforward. The panel comes with all necessary mounting hardware, the lightweight design made it easy to position optimally for sun exposure.Weather Resistant: Designed for outdoor use, the solar panel is built to withstand all weather conditions.Consistent Performance: As long as the light (No necessary sun) is there, it will charge my camera throughout the day. Lightweight and robust solar panel
Very nicely made and pleasing appearance. It is a slim rectangular panel with a slight bulge on the rear where the cable and mount attach. The included mount can also be used as a stand in portable applications. Screws are for fixing to a wall if desired.In use, it generated a good charge even when the sunlight level wasn’t all that strong.Overall it works well at a good price

Small, light but very efficient.
This solar panel/charger is a very small and light device. It is made very solidly and is equipped with a very long cable. Even in low sunlight, it charges very efficiently and the phone does not show that it is a low-power charger. I have two cameras outside the house powered by such panels and the cameras always show 100% battery status, despite recording several dozen minutes of movies a day and illuminate the area when the motion sensor detects movement. Even in the winter, where the light reaches them for a maximum of 8 hours a day, they still charge the batteries in the cameras without a problem. This solar panel is a useful device that, in the event of an emergency, can charge a phone or any USB-powered device.

Cheap to buy, ‘free’ portable power with many uses
Great inexpensive little solar panel. The mount probably isn’t the most robust but I don’t think I’ll be using it for that. Even on a typically overcast British day it charged my smartphone, and even made my Macbook Pro ‘ping’ to suggest it was charging, just about. Tested the charge rate at 7:30pm in drizzle and it was kicking out 700-800mA. My USB power brick charges at a similar rate! This compares to around 2200mA from the USB-C equipped mains sockets indoors. Interested to see how it performs in full sun, but even as it is, this is entirely adequate in poor conditions.As a travel extra or emergency item to have in the rucksack when hiking, cycling etc it’s fantastic as it’s far lighter than a battery pack. It even has a good cable length. If it had a protective carrying sleeve that would be the icing on the cake. I am very tempted to buy a few and keep them in the car glovebox etc.Equally, you could use them for auxiliary ‘off grid’ lighting with a USB battery pack and LED lamp. I’m also wondering about using them to keep my greenhouse above freezing over winter. Impressive bit of kit!

Satisfaite tout à fait fonctionnel ð en remplacement de mon ancien panneau solaire (plus grand) qui alimentait ma caméra extérieure. Malgré sa petite taille et son orientation Ouest il capte bien le soleil et ma batterie est toujours au max. J’habite dans le Sud par contre où nous avons un fort ensoleillement.
