Perfect for Powering a Pair of Raspberry Pi Computers over 60 Feet of Ethernet Cable
I bought this to replace a 15W PoE injector that wasnât quite up to powering two Raspberry Pi computers monitoring bird-feeder cameras I our garden. The Piâs have PoE hats and the voltage from this device was exactly what they needed.
Installing it was just a matter of plugging in three wires; mains, and two RJ45âs – there was nothing else to set up.
Although the final destination of the cable emanating from the PoE is the garden the device which is in a plastic box and is by no measure water-proof will be kept safely indoors.
Unlike my previous PoE, which had a wall mounted PSU, this one has a built in power supply and connects directly to the mains. This is both an advantage, as it simplifies things, and a disadvantage if you want to control the voltage transmitted over your LAN.
The product I bought was from Amazon Warehouse and I got it at an excellent price – it cost less than twelve pounds and only the box was damaged.
So far everything is working fine and will be left on 24/7. If I have any problems I will update this review until then it is five stars.

Does the job with correct power output
Using this for a Unifi door access system and it runs it AOK with no issues at all.
Power consumption monitor on the unifi shows that this is pulling the correct wattage from what is advertised on the listing.

This POE injector is well made with a solid metal case, and a good output for driving a POE device. It stays fairly cool and has been reliable.

Ideal for survey engineers
Does what it says on the box, powered a Cisco c9124axi-e and a c9166i-row for survey work at a shopping centre. Pushes the 802.3BT power to enable the RF power levels as required using a 100w 240v battery Invertor pack ensuring there is 90w available for at least 6 continuous hours.

Ottimo prodotto facile da installare e subito funzionante purtroppo non mi ero accorto della polarità dei PIN 1,2 (+) e 3,6 (-) inversa al protocollo richiesto dal mio Wi-Fi access point ed ho dovuto rendere un ottimo prodotto
