Perfect for headphones from Humax box
I wanted to use headphones to watch TV via my Humax recorder box. Looking online it was suggested to buy a bluetooth adapter but I had a pair of corded headphones. I saw these and because of the price I thought I had nothing to lose in trying them. They are perfect! The coloured ends go into the Humax box and can stay there – when headphones are not connected there is no difference in sound coming out through the TV. When I want to use my headphones it’s just simply a case of connecting the jack into the single end of this cable and them muting my TV – if I don’t mute my TV the sound comes through the headphones and the TV so it can still be heard in the room. By muting the TV I can use the volume control on my Humax remote control in the same way as usual and the sound is only through the headphones. I’m delighted with these as it was a very cost effective way of achieving what I wanted to achieve. Highly recommended.

Excellent little cable at the price. Correctly colour coded plugs, that is the white (left channel) RCA plug is connected to the plug tip connector of the 3.5mm line socket and the red (right channel) RCA plug is connected to the plug ring connector of the 3.5mm line socket. So if you are using this for any kind of stereo connection, then plug white to white and red to red and you’ll always have the left channel on the left and the right channel on the right. Unlike some other similar cables here on Amazon. Brilliant. I’m grateful.
