Very well finished with clean smooth threads
OK, so it’s ‘just’ a bit of machined aluminium. But it’s well machined and the threads are noticeably smoother than … a competitor’s. External thread for Haoge’s optional hood means if you don’t use the hood there’ll be a couple of mm of thread showing between the adapter and in my case a 49-52mm step-up ring and 52mm protector filter. A keep-able stop gap till FujiFilm’s own silver adapter and 49mm filter become available again. Or save a ton of money and just buy this and upcycle filters you already have. Can’t comment on how black the black is compared to the body, as my X100VI is silver. Based on the quality I’d consider buying a Haoge hood idc.

Not for the X100vi.
The title says it’s for the x100vi but it’s not. It’s for the x100v.Using this on the x100vi leaves a gap between it and the camera due to the different design on the VI.This fits the x100v perfectly.Please avoid this if your thinking of purchasing for the X100VI
