Good quality design.
Having tried others I settled on this filter for the Fujifilm X100VI. It fits very nearly on the camera lens and has a strict build which Iâm sure will protect it against small knocks. Very importantly for me, it also accepts the original Fuji metal lens hood. Really happy with it.

Well made, does not affect image quality
I’ve used this UV filter for a week now and can see no discernible effect on image quality. Its well made and simply screws onto the X100V. I chose black and think it matches the camera really nicely. There are several colour options though. The texture on the hood matches that of the camera too. The UV glass is nice an clear and I can see no issues or affect on image quality or AF performance. The Hood is small, but quite effective and only intrudes slightly into the optical viewfinder. You can also fit additional filters with a 52mm thread.Recommended!

Looks great when fitted and it screws onto the X100V easily and securely
I’m not 100% convinced that this will give a huge amount of flare protection as a lens hood – even with a 23mm lens I think you probably need a deeper and wider hood to be very effective. But it looks cool and it offers a level of protection to the front of the lens that is very welcome.I’ve been told that this will also complete the weather resistance of the X100V and if it does (I’ll be testing in the rain this weekend) that’s a much better value than the £100 Fuji kit.The included UV filter is fine for protection. I haven’t noticed any impact on focusing or sharpness. I don’t think UV filtering is actually needed on a digital camera, but as a protective element I’m happy to have it there.I got this in black to match the all black camera body I have. The silver one would probably look great on the silver bodies. For the money I’d say it’s a much better value than the official Fuji kit.

Lens hood
Matches the camera well probably not as good as a longer hood which would shield the Lenâs more but it looks good
