Good quality, perfect for shared headsets
The headset kit arrives well packaged, with everything needed to connect to the older Quest 2 and newer Quest 3 headsets. We use the Quest 2 headsets, and decided to use it on my wife’s headset, as that one is shared with one of the kids on occasion. This makes it ideal in this use case, as instead of adjusting the elastic straps each time, now itâs just a matter of turning the dial on the back of the strap till it fits snuggly. Fitting it wasn’t too difficult, and they provide a good step-by-step instruction sheet with images, which is helpful. I tried it on for comfort and to see how usable it was, and found it fitted well and was comfortable, with a more stable fit than the supplied elastic straps that come with the headset, especially on the back of the head. Adjusting it required reaching around to the back of my head to tighten it up, which wasn’t difficult for me.Overall, it’s a decent headset strap replacement or upgrade at a reasonable price…. I like it!

The HASACOOL Head Strap is a solid upgrade over the default strap for the Quest 3/3s/2, especially when it comes to comfort and support. The wider contact surface and memory foam cushioning make a noticeable difference during longer gaming sessionsâit distributes weight more evenly and significantly reduces facial pressure. The upgraded nylon side straps feel sturdy and durable, and the adjustable knob makes it easy to get the right fit for different head sizes. The flip-up hinge is also super handy, especially for glasses wearers who need to check their surroundings without fully removing the headset.That said, while the build quality is great, the strap doesn’t have as much flexibility or give as some premium options. It locks in well, but adjusting it while on your head takes a bit of effort. Still, for the price, itâs a great value and definitely boosts overall comfort and immersion. If youâre spending extended time in VR, this is a worthwhile accessory.

Great easy to adjust premium meta quest 3 head strap, easy to take on and off.
If you are looking for a premium deluxe strap for the meta quest 3, this one appears to be it. The HASACOOL head strap kit seems to fit that requirement, In the box alongside the brief assembly instructions you also get a 3 piece strap, comprising of back piece, side pieces and top piece with cushion pieces as well.Initially you need to detach your previous original head strap (it snaps off gently then you will need to feed the top strap through the original divider and your done essentially once you snap on the sides. Some assembly for the HASACOOL strap is required however, the side plates need to be attached for the assembly to work. But its a two minute job you now have an easier to use strap that can be adjusted for all head types with a rotatable switch mechanism at the back. It does admittedly look a bit clunky, however it is very easy to adjust and saves you pulling your hair out everytime and readjusting it.The top strap is initially more of a challenge to thread back through the case, but its the design of the Meta not the strap that makes this job harder. You just need to be patient and slide it through slowly until it pops up, then you pull and secure the tab. The strap is fabric cushion, the head plate is plastic and so is the adjustable strap, however its easy to use design, means less fiddling about to get it setup. The soft padding on the back and top piece is more comfortable for longer game playing, compared to the old style straps, easier to take off too. The padding piece at the back is more for comfort than anything else, but it is a nice cushion to have. one rotation is enough to adjust the strap in and out, saves pulling your hair out too.Pros: Makes adjusting the strap so much easier, more comfortable, twist to adjust/release.Cons: Threading the headstrap is a challenge, some initial assembly required (once only though).

Works great for the Quest 3
The Quest headset out of the box, caused me to have some reservations about its appearance and feel, which seemed quite cheap and flimsy. However, I dislike the strap that comes with the device so much that I had no choice but to use this one, and I was pleasantly surprised. The headset is very comfortable, and this is coming from a person who owned the premium Meta-made strap for the Quest 2, which was actually not very comfortable at all. The strap was easy to fit and use. I would say the strap is good value for the money, and I would recommend it if you’re on a budget.

The original head strap for my Quest 2 wasn’t the most comfortable. This replacement is much better. It’s adjustable, so I can get a good fit. It feels more secure. Definitely reduces pressure on my face. Makes using the headset for longer much more enjoyable. It’s a head strap, it’s comfortable, it works.

Comfortable and easy to fit
I needed to replace the strap on my Oculus Quest 2 and this seemed to be an easy and good looking option.The strap arrives with Quest 3 connectors fitted, which have to be swapped out for Quest 2 connectors. To do this all the fittings and a screwdriver is provided. Instructions are provided and the swap out is easy. Its nice to have the Quest 3 connectors if I ever decide to upgrade.Attaching the strap to the headset is very easy. A single velco strap to loop over, and the connectors snap on. Comfort is good and the ratcheting mechanism gives a very secure fit to the back of the head. The strap is well padded and very adjustable. The ratchet mechanism provides a small amount of counterweight which helps offset the headset.Overall, despite replacing what was a name brand and very expensive head strap with this one, I am very happy with my experience and plan to keep this strap attached to my headset moving forward.

The head strap is actually better than the original! The materials used are premium and high-grade, which is reflected in the level of comfort during long play sessions. It features extra padding that the original lacked, making a noticeable difference. Adjusting it to fit your head is quick and easy. I highly recommend this for gamers!
