A step up from nylon and plastic storage bags but priced accordingly.
I was underwhelmed when this arrived as the packaging looked a little cheap and on opening the cover was full of creases, and not from how it was folded in the bag. The logo patch looked less than premium too, the only thing that felt of a high quality was the leather zip pull. However after washing they look much better, the cotton has softened nicely and they are a good large size. I’ve got four wool jumpers in there with a lot of room still to spare.They are branded as ‘… London’ and the bags feature a Union Jack motif on them. They are made in India. The leather zip toggle needs to be removed before washing else it will likely stain the bag. It is attached by a Chicago style screw. Re attaching after washing took a little work and we had to use some pliers to hold the ball shaped other side while we tightened the screw, not a great design but I will say the metal of the ball did not suffer any marks from the pliers.I think if you are buying these for yourself, and are happy with the price, you will be quite happy with them, but as a gift item the packaging and presentation does not feel like a product with this kind of premium pricing.

Cotton Storage Bag â High Quality Storage Bag with Excellent Attention to Detail
This storage bag arrived neatly presented in a plastic bag with a cardboard information card. The cotton storage bag measures 50.8cm in length x 38.1cm in width with a depth of 16.5cm so is a good size which can accommodate about 9 lightweight knit jumpers or 5 heavyweight knit jumpers. Alternatively, it can be used to blankets (2 thick ones or 5 thin ones). Although the storage bag isnât free standing it is structured enough to hold its shape well, particularly when there are items of clothing inside.Upon opening you can tell this storage bag is premium. It is made from 100% certified organic cotton with a 238 thread count which offers durability as well as breathability. The white coloured fabric is nicely soft so will not negatively impact on precious items of clothing and is extremely well finished with neat stitching and obvious attention to detail. However, I do worry that the white could pick up dirt / stain whilst travelling so personally this will mostly be kept in my wardrobe.The storage bag features an organza panel on the side to allow easy identification of the items of clothing inside and has a lovely branded leather zip pull which has been embossed with the brandâs logo. The zip closure works well and moves smoothly / feels sturdy but note that with this storage bag that it only opens on two of the sides and not the entire way round making it a little more awkward to place your clothing neatly inside. It also has a large logo panel on the front of the bag in gold and the edges have neat structured piping without any sign of loose threads â it really does exude luxury.This elegant storage bag is designed in England and handmade in India in small batches. The storage bags are also a sustainable option as they are carbon neutral too. It does state that the storage bag is machine washable on a cool setting (30°C) but do remember to remove the leather zip pull before doing this. Priced at £20 at the time of reviewing, this is quite pricey for a clothing storage bag but the quality is excellent and it is the perfect bag for your most precious items of clothing, particularly if they are made from delicate fabrics or are at risk of being attacked by unwanted pests.

Top quality storage bag
The first thing that attracted me to this storage bag was its environmental credentials: “Fully Certified Carbon Neutral – 100% Certified Organic Cotton – Recyclable Packaging – Circular: we will recycle all our cotton storage bags into new products at the end of life.” I wouldn’t normally buy luxury goods but I can’t see this storage bag ever wearing out, so not only will that make it good value, but also better for the environment.As I have new fitted wardrobes, it also feels like just the time for an upgrade – and this storage bag is most definitely in a different league to all my other ones. It has an impressive 238 thread count (very precise!), the cotton feels thick, crisp and soft, and the bag has lovely neat stitching and piping.Personally, I don’t like prominent branding – and the label is huge and right in the middle. Also, as a vegetarian, I could do without the “luxurious” leather zipper pull! However, I was aware of this OTT branding when ordering the storage bag so will give it a 5-star rating as it will be perfect for storing my cashmere jumpers in my new wardrobe.

Stunning quality, holds a lot
This is definitely an upgrade from my usual clothes storage bags.This bag is made from 238 thread count cotton and you can really tell. It is lovely and thick with beautiful stitching and pipe work. The zip is strong and has a nice leather pull tag on the end. The bag has a sheer section so that you can see what you have stored in it.I have managed to fit 10 winter jumpers in my bag with ease (not cashmere, I canât afford those!) I have placed the bag in the bottom of my wardrobe where it looks great and will protect the jumpers well. As the bag is white, I expect it to show the dust and dirt but i am confident that it will wash well when needed.Overall, a lovely storage bag that feels like it will last for years to come.

I had originally written a much longer review about this product attempting to do the impossible & that was to describe Quality. There’s a dictionary definition but not a description. My original review just kept getting longer & longer because of the high quality of this product. It really is THAT good.I am ALWAYS looking for a good storage bag but have found the good ones cost prohibitive. This storage bag leaves a “good storage bag” in the dust! As already mentioned this product oozes quality. Everything around & about it does too. Just take a proper look at the Description page. It’s what every Description page should aim to be.The product, this storage bag is what every storage bag should aim to be. It’s beautiful – in every way imaginable. Its purpose – To store items that are fragile, costly, sentimental, &/or seasonal in nature; what it’s made from – 100% organic cotton; How it’s made – By hand; Where it’s made – In Southern India; Who it benefits – it’s a philanthropic partner to 1 % For the Planet which is a charitable organization. It also benefits the planet by ALL their products being Carbon Neutral. It also supports an orphanage in Karur, South India. I could go on but I would suggest you feast your eyes on their top quality Description page.Finally, the fact that this product costs $30 (THIRTY!) … for a 20 inch Sweater & Blanket Bag that can hold up to 9 (NINE!) sweaters or 2 blankets, that’s hand made from 100 % Organic Cotton that protects your most precious articles of clothing or linens from dust, moisture, moths, that has a see-through organza panel that allows you to see what’s inside, a top quality zipper with a sturdy pull attached so no fumbling around trying to find the pull end of the zipper. Yeah, see what I mean about the review just getting longer & longer. Lol!Bottom Line: If you’re looking for a storage bag then THIS would be the one to purchase. If you’re looking for other storage solutions including storage bags of other sizes then THIS, (Hayden Hill) would be the company to purchase it from, & at the time of this writing, with only 7 (SEVEN!) left in stock, NOW would be the time! What are you waiting for?! It is nice, it is well made. Even though I would prefer a sturdier canvas, I couldn’t find one so well made, I ordered a second case to store my sweaters.

This organic cotton bag is spacious and well constructed. I am using it to store linen sets that we need only seasonally, as it is not waterproof as the listing claims. The original reason I ordered it was to store natural fibre yarns for my knitting, but my storage for those needs to be watertight. I do like the storage bag – it fits several sweaters or sheet sets. The seams are tight and the zipper is good quality. I would say you can get 3-5 heavy knit sweaters in here, or 6-9 light knits. I like that I can see what is in the bag via the window.As far as moth proof – I would say this will provide some protection from moths, but if you want real, long term moth protection, you need heavy plastic that seals. Personally, I would still put cashmere or wool sweaters into a large ziplock type storage bag, and then put that into this bag.
