This HDMI splitter adapter is great, and works exactly as I hoped. It seems well made and the connections look robust enough to last a while – although I wouldn’t recommend flexing the cable too much, but that’s the same for all wires and cables. The picture quality is good and I had no interference or loss. It’s a good gadget to have and increase functionality to mirror your display, but be aware that it does not extend your display, and it doesn’t support audio.

Worked, but did not meet my needs.
I ordered the NEWCARE 4K HDMI Splitter Adapter to replace a similar older device., which had developed a fault. I required the device to split the input signal from my Virgin 360 Box, between my UHD TV and a DVD recorder. The old splitter did not support a UHD signal, but when I purchased it this was not an issue for me. However, due to the increased number of UHD transmissions now available, I decided to replace it with one that did support that format.When I connected the splitter, I discovered that it did not support a UHD signal to my TV. I then decided to reread the Amazon page and discovered contradictory information. The headline on the page states that it supports a HD signal, whilst one of the photographs shows the splitter labelled as 4K UHD, as was the sample I received. The splitter came with only basic instructions, so it was necessary to glean information from that and the Amazon page. This consisted mostly of techie bafflegab and from what I could gather, the splitter could only produce duplicate signals. This meant if the output devices had different resolutions, then the splitter would automatically default to the lower resolution. As the DVD recorder was not UHD, this meant both outputs became HD.Having said that, the NEWCARE 4K HDMI Splitter Adapter worked fine in HD and if that is all you require, it will adequately suit you needs. Unable to test using 2 UHD monitors.The splitter is well made and appears robust. It has a permanently attached HDMI input lead, which means one less connection to become dislodged. It comes with a USB cable to supply the power required to operate. The TV picture shows no discernible loss of visual or sound quality. The signal to the DVD recorder is slightly degraded, due to the fact it only has a SCART input and requires a HDMI to SCART converter.The NEWCARE 4K HDMI Splitter Adapter is competitively priced with comparable products.

Does what it should.
Yes it works well and was pretty easy to set up my dual monitors.

This works great for mirroring your screen to two monitors, but it only supports 4K at 30Hz
I got the HDMI splitter to connect my laptop to two monitors at once, and have the same display mirrored on both monitors, meaning that you see exactly the same display on both monitors. It does NOT support extending your display across multiple monitors, it just shows you the same picture on both monitors. This in itself is fine, but the picture wasn’t as smooth as I expected, and when I was playing a fast action game you could see that it struggled a bit and jittered.I soon realised that this only supports 4K at 30Hz, and NOT 60Hz as I expected. It is my own fault for not reading the advert carefully. However, for this price I would at least expect to see 4K at 60Hz supported but unfortunately it isn’t and that is what lets this down a bit.To be honest 4K at 30Hz, is okay for most media, but if you’re looking for a splitter to handle 60Hz or higher refresh rates, like those that are required for games and fast paced action sequences then this won’t meet those needs. The picture quality is sharp, and I didn’t notice any loss in resolution. However, if you connect two screens of different sizes or resolutions, one screen adjusts to match the lower resolution of the other, which can affect the display slightly, and I think that was the cause of the jittering I was seeing.Overall, this splitter is great for simple tasks like watching the same content on two screens or presentations. It’s affordable, easy to use, and gets the job done, but keep in mind the limitation of the 30Hz refresh rate. So if you are going to be gaming or watching sports or fast paced action scenes then you need to get something that at minimum supports 4K at 60Hz.

This splitter is decent, it does its job and is good value for the money. I have no complaints and would recommend its use.

The product is good. But it didn’t work the way I hoped. The seller is good and trustworthy.
