2）Not Compatible with low voltage HDMI Devices
NOT compatible with Blu-ray, PS4, Apple MacBook Pro with Retina Display, Mac mini, and Apple TV.Those devices are low voltage HDMI source, could not provide enough power for chipset through HDMI slot. Another solution, HDMI to VGA with external power input is required. Please see the table in the following.
3）Not Compatible with USB

Be aware about your needs
I bought this as a converter VGA output (desktop) to HDMI input (TV) and it didn’t work but it wasn’t the product’s fault, VGA is an analog signal, HDMI is digital, I was supposed to use another kind of device.Otherwise, this tiny adaptor seemed very well built, good materials used I think is wonderful if you use it as intended HDMI to VGA and not the other way around as is unidirectional!

Cheap and cheerful – does the job
Bringing back the “old” LCD screen back to life, and does full HD too.Good thing to have inside the laptop bag, just in case you need to work on those VGA second screen when you out and about.However you do still need VGA to VGA cable.Price is in line with similar products.
