A fab addition for gaming PCs with no built in disk drive
I’ve just bought a lovely gaming PC but it never crossed my mind that they don’t tend to come with CD/DVD drives anymore. This would be a problem as I like to import my CDs into iTunes so I purchased this drive for what was a low price from a reliable brand. It plugs it via a standard USB (no need for additional power) and works effectively and in relative silence. When not in use, I simply put it into storage. Does a great job and much easier (and cleaner on the looks) than putting a drive into my actual gaming PC.

A great item to have.
Simple to set up and use. Works a treat every time. If you don’t have avcd drive then buy this. I use it a lot for recording and writing.

Such a versatile device
Such a versatile device – have bought these for multiple friends/family as it ‘just works’. I use it myself mainly for archiving cds, software and as a collector of old computers, I can confirm it works with XP, Vista and Windows 7 machines, where I use it over the inbuilt and often ‘tired’ drives these devices come with. Price is also a big plus.

Finally found one that works
3rd time lucky trying to find a device to play a cd with important documents stored. Tried two others before this and they just wouldn’t work. It comes with a disc but didnt need this, i just plugged it in and it worked

Bei den neuen Mini PCs und Notebooks sind in der Regel ja keine Laufwerke mehr vorhanden und das hier ist eine günstige Version (Markenware), um CDs und DVDs zu archivieren. Ob das Teil lange hält lässt sich nicht sagen, für mich reicht es aus. Kurze Info: Auch wenn viele der NoName- oder China-Geräte mit Adapter für USB-C oft eine höhere Datenrate versprechen, die Rate der Standard USB-A 2.0 Schnittstelle war bisher immer ausreichend einen Brennvorgang durchzuführen.

Se fosse stato per qualche recensione cattiva non avrei acquistato questo prodotto, per esempio in una scrivevano che non si tratta di un prodotto LG, ma facendo una ricerca ho confermato ciò che dovrebbe essere evidente, cioè che questa azienda è una fusione tra Hitachi ed LG e fabbrica prodotti elettronici.Su questa fascia di prezzo ci sono molte azienda che offrono masterizzatrori ma non mi ha ispirato fiducia nessuna, cercavo infatti un prodotto che fosse affidabile.Tempo fa avevo acquistato un Cocopa per mio zio, un buon masterizzatore ma purtroppo non compatbile con il mio pc (anche molto recente), nei momenti in cui mi dava l’opportunità di masterizzare bruciava i cd.Per questo ho pensato di prendere un prodotto di marchio fidato, è molto leggero ma le plastiche al tatto non sembrano di scarsa qualità, nella confezione oltre al masterizzatore è presente il cavetto usb 2.0 molto spesso e difficile da tranciare per il collegamento al pc, inoltre è presente anche un cd con la media suite d15 di cyberlink con tutto l’occorrente per masterizzare (vedi foto) c’è anche la possibilità di inserire file .flac nel progetto per poi masterizzarli in mp3, una funzione molto utile.Tra le foto presenti sulla pagina di acqsuito del prodotto ce n’è una fatta alla base del masterizzatore dove riporta tutti i dati dell’articolo tra cui la data di fabbricazione che potrebbe portare ad una considerazione errata infatti quella presente sul sito risale al 2019 mentre la data sul masterizzatore in mio possesso indica che è stato fabbricato a dicembre 2022, metto in evidenza questa cosa per quelle persone che cercano un prodotto recente.Personalemente non lo sento rumoroso durtante l’utilizzo e nel complesso mi ha dato una buona impressione e reputo molto utile la media suite di cyberlink che mette a disposizione una miriade di funzioni a portata di mano.Ovviamnente consiglio il prodotto e qualora dovessi riscontrare problemi degni di nota aggiornerò la recensione.
