When the Hive unit arrived there were no details of any kind with the product with which to book the ‘pro install’. Item returned.

Avoid this pro install!
I paid the extra £120 for the pro install. When the Hive unit arrived there were no details of any kind with the product with which to book the ‘pro install’. So i have likely paid an extra £120 over the top for nothing whatsoever. On top of that i do not have any means of returning the product for a full refund because i have no means of receiving or producing the QR code. I have now booked for someone to come and fit it but that cost is likely to be on top of the extra £120 i paid for the product. Very very unhappy. Avoid the pro install at all costs.

Bought this with installation, however when I tried to book the installation ” none available phone this numver” Tried that and got through to a call centre in the far east, left on the phone for 30 minutes and the asked for a call back, got fed up waiting and returned the product, tried to complain and was jyst put back to the same call centre, very poor service

Best one around
Very good bit of kit, works with alexa & with your phone app.Easy to arrange installation if you go for this option. We had a British gas engineer out who was really helpful.App is easy to use and navigate, plenty of faqs on their website if stuck and call centre is easy to speak to a person.
Nice product and will be keeping however you canât use the glass holder due to some wood at the side being in the way –

The hive was delivered promptly with a clear message on how to book the installation. Went online and had many choices of amâs or pmâs. Received a call the day before the installation and he turned up when he said. Whole process took about an hour. Much more simple than me having to find my own gas engineer. Well worth buying the fitting package.

No Pro installation details and Hive doesnt help
I bought this with the pro installation but no details of it on the box. No instructions and Hive cant help.Also takes well over 10 days to send the product back to get a refund, however they delivered it in 2 days! Strange!

Bought Hive with install, arrived quickly but when went to arrange install there were issues with the online booking. Finally got to talk to someone in the support team who advised they dont install outside the mainland UK – hadn’t realised Aberdeenshire wasn’t on the mainland despite living there for years.If there are postcode limitations on installation this should be clearly stated on the order page.

Had to return to Amazon because when I tried although it came with installation with the price I paid hive refused to honour the installation . So had to return to Amazon.
