Great little camera.
Designed really nicely and ideal for kids. A nice colour and incredibly easy to operate. Actually really impressed with the image quality and for 50MP to be included in a camera at this price is cool. My daughter really enjoys taking the photo then going to print them off at a shop (old school style). It’s great.

Stylish for a young girl
On ordering this the question I asked myself is why do we need cameras anymore for casual use (I understand having high end equipment for real enthusiastic photographers), when we have phones which do the job so well.My answer is that I, and their parent don’t want our grandchildren to have phones until later in their childhood but they do like to record their adventures. There are some cute cameras out there for little ones . My granddaughter has a unicorn version. But at 9 years old she now doesn’t want to be seen with a ‘play camera’. This little device fits the bill nicely at looking sophisticated, working as a nice camera and yet not being a phone or a toy.Here are some points to note:- the device is small and neat and will actually fit in a pocket- the photos taken on the best resolution are pretty reasonable- even better it comes with a 32GB card to store the pictures- the camera has a physical zoom function, just as cameras used to have which works well to 16 x and is a fun function which many youngsters are not aware of.- the camera is rechargeable (ie no batteries required) and lasts more days than a phone!Overall, a great little device which will make a 9 year old very happy (ie she doesn’t need to be embarrassed at having a unicorn chunky camera anymore!)

What youâd expect from a £40 compact camera for kids, itâs good enough
£42 at time of reviewThe compact camera market has undoubted died with the progress of mobile phone photography, but you dont always want to hand your expensive mobile to your kid to take photos and thatâs where this steps in. Itâs very basic, but does everything those little fingers need. This is pretty much point and shoot. It has a zoom function, but as itâs just a digital zoom cropping your images, your best to simply set the camera to itâs highest megapixel setting, ignore the zoom, keep the camera on wide angle and crop on your computer later. It has a flash button, but thatâs simply a small constant LED light, not a flash.Itâs ok, itâs obviously not going to take photos anywhere near the quality of a £1,000 mobile or proper compact camera, but for £40 itâs fine and what youâd expect. Only thing that would have been a nice to have would be an integrated sliding lens cap, but itâs no deal breakerHope my review was helpful
