Customers say
Customers find the shelving rack to be good value for money, with positive feedback about its quality and storage capacity, particularly noting its ability to hold a lot of weight. They appreciate its design, with one customer mentioning it doesn’t look industrial, and consider it comparable to more expensive alternatives. Assembly experiences are mixed, with some finding it easy to put together while others struggle with minimal instructions. The sturdiness and size receive mixed reviews – while some find it sturdy, others report it falls apart when moved, and while some like the size, others find it too small. The sharp edges are a safety concern for customers.

A bit fiddly to assemble
As someone who finds IKEA furniture easy to put together I didn’t find this a struggle but it was fiddly and the instructions were a bit useless. It’s not something you can throw together in 5 minutes did take me about 20 minutes. That said I did do it on my own. I would suggest gloves as some of the edges are a bit sharp although I didn’t use any nor cut myself. The frame is lightweight and feels really flimsy until everything is put together and it’s surprisingly sturdy and wobble free. Not sure about heavy weights on the shelves as I’ve only bought it for starting off seedlings indoors but it does feel quite sturdy.Really pleased with it and think it’s good value for money, it would be quite easy to replace the shelves if they get damaged or even upgrade them

Easy to assemble with a bit of patience
Bought to organize my tools, paint etc. I bought this one because the depth of shelves fitted in a small cupboard and still allowed me to get through the door. I have used it as 2 x shelf units with only 2 shelves on each – having 3 shelves would not have given enough height to store my storage tubs. Why only 4 stars – because it was fiddly to assemble, the horizontal shelf supports are quite deep and therefore reduce the height for sliding tubs of tools etc in and out (5.5cm including the wooden shelf). Also, I wouldn’t put heavy items on it even though it says each shelf can hold over 100kg. The vertical struts twist easily on construct and I did not have a perfectly level and smooth surface for the shelf units to stand on. Also, no fixtures to fit to the wall if you decide to have it at full height. The vertical struts come in 2 lengths so for the full height you attach a bracket to join them and I did not think that looked sturdy enough especially with no wall fixings, or any idea how you could fix to a wall as would have to drill a hole in the metal struts to be able to attach to a wall.I couldn’t find the instructions when I unpacked the box but it turned out they had static- clung to one of the shelves!! But I managed to suss out the construction quite easily. However, the instructions said used a screwdriver to wiggle the sticky-out bits on the vertical struts to slide in the shelf struts but I found it easier to adjust the tabs on each shelf support with pliers (probably bent them 1mm at most). The middle shelf supports you will need pliers to bend these tabs as they come flat and need to be at a 90° angle. Also, you might want to wear gloves as although I didn’t cut myself (and I cut myself on everything!) the edges are sharpish. I used a normal claw hammer with a wood block to tap everything in place. The good bits – easy to assemble, narrow shelf depth for small spaces, excellent value for 2 shelf units, the shelf heights can be adjusted by about 3cm intervals, lightweight so easy to move around once built – although some of the shelf support tabs may pop out or need knocking back into place.

Perfect for the job. Instructions are garbage.
The instructions are pretty much next to useless but it’s a straight-forward build once you get the gist. The instructions recommend a rubber mallet but a block of wood and hammer did the job of fitting the bars together. The shelves appear sturdy and were just the job for all the various boxes and other stuff I had. Mine is in the utility room but as others have stated, I’d be wary of the boards lasting in an outdoor shed etc. Overall, I’d recommend the shelves.

Not the easiest to work out, but worth it once put together
Purchased for storing gardening bits n bobs in my shed as it was getting a bit messy in there, ideal as my shed isn’t very high and most shelving was too tall to fit in.I have to agree with other reviewers, the destructions aren’t the best, but once you figure out how it works, it goes together quite quickly, no male help needed :-)It mentions using a screwdriver to push the metal in properly, but to be honest, just using my fingernails with a bit of pressure was fine, granted it did result in a few chipped nails, but it was far easier than messing with the screwdriver and mallet. One thing which bugged me is I couldn’t get the shelves spaced out equally, because of the join in the middle. While it isn’t really noticeable once everything’s loaded on to it, just knowing they’re not equal bugs me a little.Other than that though, these shelves are perfect for what I needed, very happy with them.

Brilliant and does a great job
I measured this up and it was ideal for my utility room. It took a bit of putting together but once itâs done itâs sturdy and lots of storage space. Great for the price

Very good shelves
Very good quality for the price. Once put together they are very sturdy. The only negative thing is that they can be a pain to assemble until you get into the rhythm of it.

Not worth the effort.
Package contained all items – goodThereafter – otherwise.Click assembly not particularly strong. Contributed to ability to support 100 kGs+ of load. \Slightest upward force – eg while trying to lift and turn to advance the assembly process – was enough for the shelves support to free themselves.System to enable extension to double height was flimsy – also prone to splitting until fitting of nuts and bolls (40+ – not supplied) secured the structure but only 3 of the 5 shelves. The finished item was still wobbly. All in all – not very good.Took the decision to disassemble and return. Not worthy of one star.
