The TCR is a modern 7-day programmable thermostat for domestic use. It is designed to provide automatic temperature and time control and is ideally suited for use with a Combi boiler.
A 30m range is possible between the thermostat and receiver box thanks to wireless communication. The connection is already established so no set up is required.
Simple to fit with a three step process: wire in, power up and Test (heat demand icon on the display makes testing easy), then lastly configure.
Single day schedules or 7 day programming with 7 day; 5/2 (this is pre-configured).
Automatic time change for summer and winter.
Easy to use push button access to the configuration menus.

Upgraded from Honeywell CM921 to T4R
Nice Supplier with smooth delivery.Upgraded to T4R cause CM921 display faded out.It takes advantage to keep same wiring in receiver box. Bigger display supports more content, easy for reading and setting. Noted the Thermostat is bit thicker than CM921, but having good outlook.

Perfect replacement for CM907
The relay box on my CM907 packed up so I needed a replacement. After some research I settled on the T4. It has the same number of time setting periods (6) has holiday mode. The only thing it doesn’t have is what the CM907 called party mode but you can achieve the same objective of extending a time period if you want the heating to stay on a bit longer. Nice display and easy to install and use.

A great thermostat
It was bought to replace like for like and annoying that both components had to be purchased when only the handset was required.. however it was fairly easy to marry up with the existing hardwiring and would use this brand again.Just a word of warning DO NOT LEAVE WHERE A STUPID FLAMING DOG CAN GET HOLD OF IT AND CHEW IT! They do not withstand the jaws of a French Mastiff (Dogue de Boardeaux)!!Great otherwise

Easy to install – no problems
The product arrived within a few days of ordering. With a basic knowledge of electrics it was easy to install. (If you know how to wire a plug you will be able to follow the installation instructions). The clock was already wi-fi linked on its own to the transmitter, so once the installation was done, I had just had to put the batteries in the clock and it was ready to programme. The programming instructions were fairly clear and intuitive so I had it programmed very quickly.

Great seller communication
I had the wrong unit delivered but the seller rectified this immediately and kept up great communication to let me know what was happening. Haven’t installed the T4R yet, but it should be a breeze, all Honeywell stuff usually is.

Amazing things these
I had one of these in my last property and since moving I’ve missed the versatility of having it, so decided to get one as my combi boiler is now in the loft and must say I am glad I did, they’re just so useful. Especially when the boiler isn’t immediately accessible.I can now sit in the office at a relaxing 20C with the door shut and have all the doors and windows open elsewhere if I so choose without any impact on the environment I am in or boiler usage. Gone are the days of fannying around with radiator thermostats in different rooms.The only gripe if there has to be one is that I am not entirely convinced the temperature readings are entirely accurate and don’t have any reliable means of checking them. I don’t think the temperature can be calibrated by end users either which would be a useful feature if it is out.I recommend these things though, they’re superb for single ‘room you’re in’ temperature control.

Work well but not easy to install for the non professional
Good product , installation videos on YouTube are good. If you are not confident wiring things in get an electrician to do it.

Great improvement on originally fitted thermostat
I needed to update an eaerlier thermostat. This one comes complete with the receiver. Rather than try to link to the earlier receiver – many years old, I decided to install the new one. The wiring was not quite as shown on the diagrams, but being an electrical engineer it was easy for me to sort it.After about 30 minutes and careful attention to ensuring no bare wires were visitble, I switched it on and it worked like a dream.I then sorted the temperature settings. Please note that the installation instructions give information on how to enable six time periods a day and to access the optimisation menus. Instead of mounting the thermostat to a wall I used the free standing option.Simple set up and now we have a better control of house heating.
