Great Piece of Kit
I needed to scan a delicate historical book where a flat bad scanner was not a viable option. This portable scanner came to the rescue. It was a bit fiddly to use in the beginning but once you got the hang of it was fine. The PDF setting works very well, and the JPG setting works on diagrams and text and but sadly scanned photographs looked exactly that – scanned. If you recognise that shortcoming it is fine but I guess we cannot have everything.

Poor instructions. Like how to open the battery compartment. As this device appears to need charging, no mention as to whether the 2 AA batteries should be chargeable or not.

Unable to use
I have not been able to record anything on this scanner. It just locks up when it has done one or two lines, and what I did get on a disc I have been unable to down load.

Great little scanner – especially for when in bound books
I needed to use this scanner to scan around 1000 pages of historic minutes that were bound in books. I wasn’t allowed to remove the pages so I could just a bigger flat bed scanner. So I needed a scanner I could effectively pass over the pages.The scanner worked really well and I was able to tell if there was a problem during the scan and hence redo the scan. There were virtually no issues with the scanner itself – and battery life was great.The only issue I had – which was not really a fault of the scanner was that if there was writing very close to the bottom of the page it was a bit more tricky to scan these areas as the scanner sensor wheel would effectively be off the page before the scan head had reached the end of the page. I had to solve this by putting a card behind the page being scanned so that the scanner would effectively continue on to the card at the bottom of the page. Just a minor annoyance but not the fault of the scanner really.

Der Scanner tut was er soll ,das macht er auch noch sehr gut .Ein Kleinwenig Ãbung ist vorteilhaft . DerPc erkennt ihn nicht ,besonders in meinem Fall wo schon ein Drucker mit Scanner installiert ist, aber aufdie empfohlene SD Karte 32 GB die in Fat formatiert sein muà sonst erkennt er sie nicht , geht dasScannen und übertragen in den PC ohne Probleme. Daten im JPG Format sind leichter nachbearbeitbarals PDF . Der Speicherpl. auf der SD Karte mit 32 GB reicht für mehr als 3000 Scans ,also Kein Problem.Mehr kann man für das bischen Geld nicht verlangen.

Article acheté pour mon enfant de 14 ans qui a des problèmes scolaires et avait besoin d’une aide pour “récupérer” les devoirs sur l’un de ses amis; Malheureusement, ce produit n’est pas suffisamment performant et reste difficile à l’utilisation. A 5 jours près, j’ai manqué le délai de retour et je me retrouve donc avec un produit qui ne servira plus. Mieux vaut regarder une autre marque et produit.
