Great laptop.
The HP Elite book 840 G2 is a very good quick laptop. It loads up quickly. It is also very compact. Great for streaming on. Also a good for productivity be it office work or creating videos for all those YouTube influencers out there.

Lack of support from the supplier
The laptop was great but I had issues with it on day one. I requested to return it which was accepted. It was sent back to me saying it had been damaged and they would not repair or refund it. I queried this as it was working and not damaged when it was sent to the supplier. I received no response back and that was it. Will never buy a laptop on Amazon again as this was my first time and service is what it is all about. I have used HP la[top for year and always had good support from them when dealing directly.

Fast and lightweight
I was a little surprised I had to update the BIOS and change the boot order to boot from the SSD rather than a remote server (unknown server) but once I sorted that out it works fine. HP BIOS updating is a little more complicated than some machines like Dell so if you don’t know what you are doing I can see this being an issue for some.The machine is fast loading due to the SSD, runs a lot of applications as it has 8gb RAM and is great for use as a work laptop to control my PC in work. Obviously good for streaming movies etc on Prime etc. Only 4 stars due to having to set up the machine to boot windows from SSD drive.

Was so excited to get this laptop but when it arrived. It was full of disappointment. I think a lot of information was not put out there by the seller. Few scratches tho. Battery life is ok.

I was actually worried about the product quality and delivery because this is the first time I brought a refurbished laptop from Amazon. But after using it for almost 3 months now, I can say. it was a good deal. product quality is nice so far. battery life is good. delivery was hasslefree. I am satisfied with everything.Only downside is the display. display quality is not that good, but as the config is low, I am not expecting high quality from this laptop.

Reçu aujourd’hui encore un peu tôt donc pour bien évaluer l’article mais il est en bon état et à l’air de fonctionner à voir avec l’utilisation pour la rapidité, charge batterie etc mais attention dans la description il est marqué clavier Azerty hors j’ai reçu en Querty ce qui ne m’arrange pas .

Ich habe mir dieses refurbished Notebook bestellt, da ich kein teures Gerät haben wollte. Das Notebook ist ca. vier Jahre alt und hat keinerlei Gebrauchsspuren. Er ist sehr schnell und für meine Zwecke mehr als ausreichend. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt ist der fehlende HDMI-Anschluss, das Problem lässt sich aber mit einem entsprechenden Adapter leicht lösen. Ich habe für das Notebook 177,00 Euro bezahlt, neu hat es, 1499,00 gekostet. Ich finde, das ist ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis. Weiterempfehlung!

L’écran de l’ordinateur a un pixel mort, et je trouve dommage que cela n’était pas signalé!Lors du reconditionnement, la réinstallation semble avoir été faite à lâarrache, des fichiers système de l’ancienne version étaient encore présents et encombraient inutilement l’ordinateur. J’aurais pu pousser le vice jusqu’à rechercher les fichiers personnel de l’utilisateur précédent??Pour le reste je suis satisfait, lâordinateur correspond à mes attentes, un machine suffisamment performante et légere pour un travail de boulot.
