Good quality and built to last
I needed to free up some bench space in my garage where I have a PC and monitor that were sat on the worktop. I bought this arm so I could mount the monitor and put away flat against the wall in portrait mode. It worked perfectly. The instructions were clear and covered brick and stud wall mounting. Each set of screws etc. were labelled and kept in their own compartment of the bag which helped with identification.You do require some additional tools to install – for me, this was a hammer drill and 10mm masonry drill bit, pen/pencil, a socket set, a spirit level and a screwdriver (and if you don’t want brick dust everywhere something to catch the dust in and a vacuum cleaner). The arm comes with allen keys to adjusting the gas damping at the joints amd a helpful cardboard template for marking the screw holes.To install in to brick you need to make 3 holes using a 10mm masonry drill bit and the template / spirit level and fit the wall plugs. Once done, you offer up the monitor arm and screw in the three bolts. Once they are holding the arm in place you can finish off with a socket set until the bolts bite tight against the bracket and the wall (don’t overtighten once you reach this point).Fit the vesa mount on the back of your monitor and undo the thumb screw on the end of the monitor arm. Slide the vesa bracket in to the monitor arm end guides and replace the thumb screw to hold the monitor in place (you may need someone to help you hold the monitor or arm in place at this point depending on the position).Once the monitor is on the arm you can pull the monitor in to place – both the angle of the monitor and the positioning of the arms – if you find any of these are too loose or too tight, you can now use the allen keys supplied to adjust the tension on the respective joint until it is how you need it. You should also now be able to rotate the monitor as well if required. I would recommend moving the monitor by the sides, not pushing against the panel itself as per one of the review videos.Once you are happy with the positioning / movement of the arm you can now begin to cable it all up – you will find the on the arm, the plastic parts slide off and this is to conceal the cables. Once you are happy with the cabling (make sure you’ve left enough slack to be able to move / rotate as required) you replace the covers and you are done.I’ve only just done mine so I can’t comment on longevity but from what I’ve seen so far, I would expect this to last for years and year with no issues. I installed a 24″ monitor on mine but it’s rated for a much heavier product so it should be good for a variety of screens but check the specs yourself (and make sure the wall fitting is done well to avoid any mishaps!).

Great adjustability, decent quality
This review is for the HNWSS1 13-32 Inch Monitor Wall Mount, which has been grouped together with several desk-mount product variations.It seems plenty sturdy enough for monitors and lightweight TVs. I chose this item over the many others available, because it is rare to find a wall mounting arm with this combination of reach and height adjustability – plenty of others have long reach without height adjustability and vice versa.This arm does both and can still fold back flat, admittedly due to the thicker arm this won’t fold back as close to the wall as a simple slimline hinged arm model, but for me it’s worth the extra 20mm depth in order to have the range of reach, height, tilt and turn.This allows us to have a single screen serving as both a gaming screen for the kids when low down, and as a second monitor for an extra working-from-home space when raised to table level. Tension for the height adjustability is easily adjusted with a hex key, but pay attention to the labelled direction of adjustment – it’s clockwise to loosen and anti-clockwise to tighten!This should be easy to fit if you’ve ever fitted any other wall-mounts. Refreshingly decent screws and wall plugs are provided for solid walls. Just bear in mind that the centre point of the screen if folded flat to the wall, will be either to the left or to the right of the centre point of where the mount is fixed to the wall, so make sure you offer it up to the wall and/or measure thoroughly before committing to the final position.Also be warned that it’s advisable to have two people available when unpacking the product – the arm is clamped shut by cable tie for packing – so unless you’re blessed with big strong farm hands then it’s easier for one person to hold the clamp closed with two hands, whilst the other cuts the tie, so it can be gently released rather than springing open suddenly and inflicting damage.

A very sturdy bracket for the money. Wall fixings work well in block wall. Downsides, it came with every size screw imaginable, except the M8’s required for our Samsung TV. The tilt adjustment isn’t as sturdy as the rest of the bracket. Overall, it’s pretty good!

Good product, just one disappointing aspect
The product is well made and sturdy, there is just one problem which is there no cover supplied for where the monitor bracket mounts to the wall so you can clearly see the three bolt heads. Either change to black bolts or add a plastic cover. I have used a neat little strip of black gaffer tape to cover the bolt heads but it is a shame that it wasn’t finished properly for a little cover that costs 20p to make.

these are ok but there is to much play in some of the joints the arms also twist/move with the monitors mounted and i dont mean the tension part but the straight arm itself monitor are only 5kg so well within there limit not very well built and could use some more R and d purchased as they was highly rated but cannot rate them that good will be looking for another brand
