— Updated 6/11/18 —Ive previously mentioned that this headset is nothing like what ive previously owned. its actually worked for more than 8 months to a year which was my previous life expectancy for my past 7 or 8 headsets from varying brands. There is nothing overly special with the headset. it has somewhat cheap but sturdy plastic frame decent cushioning on the top headband and perfectly good ear pads that will give you continued comfort for long gaming sessions or in general use case. i wear my headset anywhere from 7 to 16 hours a day while frequently taking them off multiple times within the day.The core and most notable strong point here with the headset is that, and i can reassure you on this. the build quality internally is beyond great. strong solder connections that are durable and wont degrade or detach / snap from frequent build up of heat or smacking the headset around or yanking on the cord etc. Ontop of great sound quality and great bass depth that wont peak out means for the price its pretty dam fantastic. and its also comfortable even with people that have big ears like i do!The only thing i dislike here is that even after nearing 2 years of use. the earpads and the overall rigidity are degrading pretty bad. the headset is so lose fitting now that its a cause of frequent adjustment in the sizing of the headset and the ear pads are flaking off the glued on fake leather like material. nothing particularly wrong with this especially if you compare it to competitors. they all do the same but hyper x has made theirs last the longest in my own experience.The downside is that they dont have replacements that you can order from their shop. which i think is a big L in this situation. you have a good product and you know the earpads are going to crap out first is most cases but dont offer replacements. no one wants to continue wearing a headset when the pads are flaking off crap onto their head and shoulders *no pun intended*overall my score is now a 5/5. but i understand some peoples experiences might vary. if you have an extra £20 or so to spare. look into getting the cloud headsets. bigger drivers and better frequency range for a overall better listening experience and its more comfortable even for bigger ears like i do. and if you find the ear pads are degrading quicker than normal. fear not because they actually have replacement pads for £6 that you can get. so you have that luxury of ordering replacements compared to this, which you would need to order a replacement headset overall.

Very good headset
These headphones are very good for the price .For pros it is quite cheap but has a sturdy build , very comfortable eat cups , very good sound quality and a good mix with a flip to mute option which I love . I play rainbow six seige and there work quite well and are very comfy and I can hear all I need to hear . For cons first off is that the clamping pressure isn’t ideal and is abit to loose for my liking but I’m sure I will get used to it. The sound quality is very good and music sounds amazing but it’s not like out of this world good and another thing is that I wish these Were abit louder .They are all around a great bang for your buck and I would recommend them to Anyone looking for a very good sounding headset for a cheap price .

Sono molto affezionato a tutta la famiglia delle HyperX. Posso tranquillamente dire che siano tra i migliori headset da gaming in assoluto. Queste HyperX Cloud Stinger si assestano su un mercato di fascia media, non sono per persone troppo esigenti ma per tutti i casual gamer che hanno comunque il desiderio di avere un headset completo e di qualità.sono realizzate completamente in plastica a meno dell’archetto che è in acciaio e credetemi già questo da molta fiducia nell’utilizzarle. Non si ha quella sensazione di poterle rompere da un momento all’altro. Sono molto compatte nel loro design e devo dire che mi piace tantissimo il colore satinato. Solo il bordino a contatto con i padiglioni e una parte sottostante l’aggancio con l’archetto sono in plastica lucida, devo dire che è un piccolo tocco di classe.I padiglioni “over ear” ruotano di 90 gradi per poterle comodamente appoggiare al petto, lasciandole intorno al collo. Comodo per chi gioca tanto e ha bisogno di riposare un attimo. I padiglioni poi nascondono 2 driver direzionali da 50 mm, questo vuol dire che sono leggermente inclinati per poter far godere del suono al meglio dei modi, o almeno così sembra anche dai primi test che ho effettuato.Il volume può essere gestito da una slider analogica posta su uno dei padiglioni, precisa si, ma non eccezionale. Però insomma, serve solo per regolare il volume quindi non ne farei un dramma.Molto ben realizzato anche il microfono che può essere adattato, poichè realizzato con un materiale in grado di mantenere la posizione. Tocco in più di classe, la possibilità di mutare il proprio headset semplicemente ruotando il microfono in posizione iniziale. Ad un certo punto si sente un piccolo click meccanico ed è quello che spegnerà il nostro microfono. Quando si è in gioco questo aspetto è comodissimo, non sia ha la necessità di dove ridurre ad icona il gioco, oppure usare scorciatoie da tastiera (per chi avesse una tastiera con comandi multimediali)Siamo arrivati ora ai due aspetti, che personalmente, ritengo fondamentali. Qualità del suono e comodità. Per quanto riguarda la qualità del suono non mi aspettavo altro che un ottimo risultato. Adoro tutte le cuffie che non obblighino a subire bassi intensi e fastidiosi. In questo caso abbiamo un set decisamente flat, quindi pronto per ricevere ogni sorta di equalizzazione noi desiderassimo. Insomma, spazio veramente ad ogni vostra esigenza in termine di suono. Ho provato a spingerle al massimo, aumentando anche i bassi e non ho avuto ne vibrazioni, ne rumori. I driver da 50mm sono in grado di accontentare anche i più esigenti.Devo essere sincero, da una fascia di prezzo del genere, non mi sarei mai aspettato tanta qualità e possibilità di personalizzazione via software (non incluso e non della casa produttrice) … sono veramente soddisfatto.La qualità del microfono è ottima per il suo scopo. Serve per comunicare via chat vocale durante il gioco, con gli amici, e direi che fa veramente bene il suo lavoro. Nulla da dire in questo senso.E per la comodità? Io adoro a prescindere tutte le cuffie over ear, perchè coprendo l’intero orecchio non vanno a surriscaldare la parte e di conseguenza a renderle fastidiose. Il materiale utilizzato, sia per i padiglioni che per l’archetto le rendono veramente comodissime. Ci ho giocato per 4 ore di fila e non ho mai e poi mai sentito l’esigenza di togliermele.Credo sinceramente che siano tra le migliori cuffie di fascia media per il gaming che ci siano.Ah ps: piccolo particolare, all’intero della scatola c’è anche una comoda prolunga per poter raggiungere anche i computer posti sotto la scrivania.
