Drone with good functionality especially for beginners
I have a lot of experience operating drones and because whenever he kept telling me that he would like to learn how to fly drones, I decided to get this one for him which I consider to be appropriate for a beginner like me. It is simple to operate and the good part about it is that it comes with three batteries and I find this very helpful especially when my nephew is planning to use it for a longer time. The image quality that it records is relatively decent considering the size and value of it and it comes with spare propellers because I have seen my nephew crushing it a couple of times and the drone was still operating fine. There is good connectivity between the remote control and the actual drone and per general I can say that this round is good value and it works just fine.

Not a great gift!
Do not fly if thereâs a breath of wind. It took the drone off and crashed it into a metal fence ironically breaking the obstacle avoidance thingy. Getting the thing stabilised was painful. Not a particularly intuitive drone for a child to get the hang of. Not a great experience tbh!

Itâs our first âbig boyâ drone so we canât really compare it to the proper and high-end one in the market today. It was a surprise to see batteries in the kit as it is advertised as 0 batteries so we are really happy with it. The bits that you need to attach and assemble feels cheap and flimsy and worries us when we crash it but it is still alright. Takes a lot of getting use to but itâs surprisingly feel decent. Very easy to assemble and operate for beginners . Had a lot of crashes at first as we are still learning how to fly a drone. Rechargeable and fun to use. Love to see a different perspective with its camera. This will surely be a good idea for gifting. Canât wait to fully enjoy this in our summer adventures when weather is suitable.

Great little drone, quite a lot of fun.
I didn’t have a lot of expectations for this considering I thought I needed to buy batteries but it turns out these did include 3 batteries in the box.It’s easy to fly outdoors provided it’s not windy and the flight time per battery is around 10 minutes depending on what sort of flying you do. if you go faster, you will experience different duration of use; if you use it slowly, you’ll get longer.If you use your phone to control it, you don’t need to have the remote in your hand.It does have obstacle avoidance but that doesn’t help much at high speeds as it cannot stop in time. It will also crash into obstacles easily at low speeds with avoidance on. If you’re comfortable with flying you could make do without the sensor on top which may help with a little more flight time due to the reduced flight weight.The camera is good considering the budget range for the drone.I would say this is perfect for someone just learning to fly a drone. It handles similarly to my high end drone.

Rubbish camera because it streams to app and doesn’t record directly. Also dreadful in even the slightest wind. Seriously unless it’s completely still this thing just blows away. Complete rubbish toy. Save your money.

Needs clearer instructions! It was intuition that told me how to operate the 360 avoidance technology which leads into my second critique, What avoidance technology??? Donât get me wrong it works (albeit at a total throttling of the air crafts speed which you would probably think was a good thing if I had not seen this executed on a greater level. Absurd and ironic that I should fly this craft directly, carefully and deliberately into a wall only for the avoidance technology to kick in and crash the craft into the chair opposite⦠wait⦠what?Speaking of crashes, through this crafts erratic behaviour Iâve crashed it several times and Im happy to speak of itâs surprising resilience, hence the title.At 201g and feeling the cheapness of the plastic I was not expecting it to be as robust as it is however this lightness means that It canât sustain stable flight in windy condition and would be tossed around like a leaf ðInfuriatingly the batteries have no battery indicator so If you happen to have the three batteries splayed out your guess is as good as mine. I find the batteries to do well at discharging in a dormant state and you can expect flight times at approximately 20 minutes per battery cartridge. Non eject button for the batteries once integrated with the plane rather there is very budget friendly groves for you to sink your nails into and pull ð¥´Which leads me onto the next point. Good luck sinking your nails into the apetures to remove the joysticks. Another corner cut that can ironically cut you with its corners.I love the budget yet effective LCD display integrated into the remote controller, giving reading as much as the pressure your excerting on the joysticks, though Iâm appaulaed at the fake unecessary antenas.HD video is just what you would expect at this level giving you 1080P imagery which can be breath taking if it caught an inspiring shot but could never hope to truly take your breath away ð¬ï¸ like competitions on the market.Low latency in frequency between craft and controller means that flying is precise and enjoyable (providing you have the right conditions). This craft, despite its pretentiousness and low build quality, is in actual fact a great entry into the drone world though these words must be a reflection of the price.

mine didn’t come with a battery, and I had to purchase one from a different website. waited weeks for that battery to arrive and finally used the drone. it literally timed out connection on the first flight. for the first few minutes it appeared that it would be ok, but I never was able to complete a flight start to finish without errors. Thankfully I was flying low. I would hate to imagine this thing dropping out of the sky on me due to poor connection.

This drone is a bargain and entry level in terms of features but doesn’t feel cheap.It works out of the box with minimal setup. I crashed it several times indoors, and it lived to tell the tale. I’m still getting the hang of the app at this point, but I’m impressed.One issue I have is that the little head unit that snaps onto the top of the drone is a very tight fit, and I’ve been afraid to take it off for fear of breaking it.Otherwise, I’m very happy with this little gizmo.
