Works well with Ubuntu based Linux distributions
Working with Linux on a 34″ monitor. Works very well, but two minor observations.1. Installation of the drivers, manual was a little thin on details2. Once disconnected to work remotely, on re-connection and starting the machine, there seems to be a delay in the graphics display (this does not happen when I connect the laptop directly to the monitor not through the docking station). A simple re-boot fixes the issue and all is good. This may be as a result of a setting missed out but the manual is very thin on details.

It lasted a few months but is broken
I’ve had it about 9 months now and it won’t connect my monitors any longer. The mouse, keyboard, and audio still work but my monitors don’t. It’s unlikely to be a software problem because neither my mac nor my pc work.

Worked ok for while
After relatively light usage for 13 months the dock no longer powers on! Hopefully, this is an isolated issue as we have purchased a number of these units and others by i-tec for our company. We purchased i-tec based on a recommendation of dependable high performance.

Not sure on the review about not working on a Mac and duel monitor as I have 2 x 27 inch screens and my laptop screen on a MacBook Pro. we also have a Microsoft surface same set up – working really well. very happy and easy to connect

No Power Delivery
This is a great dock and a good price. If however, like me, you have only one USB C on your laptop and that is also used for charging, then it is to be avoided. Unlike some competitors i-tec don’t highlight this in large print. You need to buy one where it says PD next to the USB input. I sent mine back and upgraded to their i-tec USB C Universal Laptop Docking Station, Power Delivery 85W. Which is excellent and ticks all the boxes.

LONGEVITY IS AN ISSUE WITH THESE?
Dock failed totally after 2 years and a month. No support offered by manufacturer to diagnose or repair. That’s a pretty short life for a premium product. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Hooking up my headphones gave me some minor problems but overall very happy.
I don’t stop to click every amazon review email for every product but I have to leave a review for this one. Mainly because I had a hard time finding and affordable universal docking which supported multi-screen 4K usb 3.0 (and or c). This really worked out of the box for me. 4K@60hz both screen no problem. Hooking up my headphones gave me some minor problems but overall very happy.
