Easy use tools
A simple but useful set of tools for opening and repairing an iPad. It was easy to follow the instructional videos on the ifixit site and it made a daunting task simple and achievable. Good but plastic
This is a great product however itâs made from plastic so when youâre removing a back glass or anything with heat the ends of the pick distort so theyâre pretty useless. This is more for like taking clips out and things like that overall very good product.

Excellent kit for phone repairs
I bought this for a small repair on my phone (the back panel became loose). I also used some of the tools for popping off tiny connectors from small custom PCB, and it was very useful and sturdy. I did not use it for an extensive range of things, for the purpose I bought it for it was good enough.

Really useful collection of tools to open Samsung tablet, TV remote control, etc.
I purchased this to open my Samsung tablet, which was refusing to power on. The kit contains a really useful selection of tools to do just that. I also used it to open a clipped-together TV remote control, to give it a clean.My local tech shop charges £50 to open a tablet, reseat the cables to get the thing going again. I now have the tools to do that for a fraction of the price.

Essential tools for todays tech
Been promising myself some of these for a while, and I’m glad I’ve got them now. They’ve been applied to a variety of problems and gadgets, and are now part of my “Dad’s fix-it” box. The larger pry/wedging pics are slightly softer plastic, and will probably wear, but this is the tradeoff when using plastic tools, for them not to scratch they need to be softer than the material you’re working on. Overall I’m glad I have them, and wish I’d bought them sooner.
