Not perfect, but incredible for the sub £100 I’m judging it on for both productivity and gaming.
Please note I’m reviewing this based upon the price I paid for it, which was £94.Firstly, for the price I bought the non height adjustable version, since my intention was to mount it on a montor arm using a VESA mount.Note this is a 24″ monitor which arrived (the descriptor was a bit ambiguous saying it was a 22″ version, but the model number is a 24 inch)I’ve used this for about a week now of 10+hrs a day for both work as part of a 4 monitor 3x1080p and 1x1440p setup, and also for gaming.Speakers, ok for a monitor, but I’d use dedicated speakers if you want anything even half decent sounds wise. Same problem for most monitors. This is a high refresh rate monitor offering up to 180Hz. I ran at both 120Hz and 180Hz both super smooth, though I must admit I couldn’t really tell the difference between those 2 higher rates (and yes my PC was running something which it claimed could manage 200fps+ if monitor could cope).Brightness if good for an IPS monitor, to the point I’d had to turn the brightness down a bit.The imagine from wide viewing angles are not as good as my other Iiyama IPS (standard 75hz refresh) monitors, though still much better non IPS panels you see on cheap laptops. I suspect this is a compromise due to the high refresh nature of the panel.Pros- Speakers are just about tolerable at low volume for a PC monitor speaker.- High refresh rate, does help with gaming.- Good brightness for an IPS monitor.Cons- Deeper than some other more expensive monitors, adding an additional 2-3cm depth when vesa mounting (a consideration when space is tight)- Viewing at an angle is not as good as other IPS monitorsOn balance, for the money (sub £100), this is ridiculous value for money despite the negatives I’ve highlighted. This provides a good balance for both a gaming and a productivity monitor for the price.

Iiyama G-master G2470HSU 24 inch IPS monitor
This monitor Has a good picture quality (1080p) which is good enough for my uses .The Matt finish screen means little to no glare .It has a Good build quality and is able to be mounted on a Vesa compatible monitor arm.The only slight issue I have so far is the position of the buttons to control the menu, they are on the back panel on the right hand side as is the power button .Fiddly to use at best. Otherwise it’s in my opinion Good value for the price

Close, but no cigar!
Really good monitor, at this price point I would expect HDR compatibility. Overdrive function is fine, but anything higher than 1 makes it pretty much unusable. Really nice quality stand and mechanism with plenty of movement. I ended up returning it as I found a much better deal for a tiny amount more money. The thing that lets it down the most is the 5 button menu interface on the back of the screen – It’s SO fiddly!!!

NOT HDR as advertised.
Does not support HDR in any way, shape or form. This is going back. My son was really looking forward to playing some of his favourite games in HDR on Christmas day, he was so excited while setting up his new monitor. 15 minutes later we are putting it back into the box. Christmas ruined. Also, ignore the RRP on this item (£240), I found the exact same monitor from another seller for £170 and it wasn’t even discounted.I am FURIOUS!
