Excellent Design
This is a superb piece of kit. Easy to set up, easy to use, really good keyboard- I cannot fault it. Such a well thought-out piece of design that looks really good too. Every contact point is fitted with discrete rubber inserts. A feature that really appeals to me are the two small rubber pads fitted discretely under the hinge. When the lid is opened to nearly itâs fullest extent these pads raise the back of the keyboard part of the case about 15mm which sets up the keyboard at the perfect angle for typing. This really nice touch I never even noticed for the first few weeks. And all at such a good price too.The battery charge lasts for months and months and has an led to inform you of the upcoming need for a recharge. When the case is closed, both the IPad and the keyboard are automatically switched off. For a few extra pounds you can get it with a touchpad, but I find the Ipad touchscreen so easy to use that you really don’t need it.Finally(!), the case provides plenty of quite stylish protection for the IPad, whilst improving itâs ease of use. Just canât praise it enough!

Well made and works well
Well built and easy to set up and i really prefer an actual key board to a virtual one, also the screen stays cleaner for longer

A great study case and keyboard
Easily the best case I have purchasedReviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 November 2024Nothing to not like about this case and touchpad. Easily the best case I have purchased, and i have purchased a few in my time. It looks extremely professional, built to last. I had no trouble fitting my new iPad S8 Ultra to it. Some other known makes its hard to get the keyboard to be recognised on Bluetooth. This one was a cinch. When i get this baby out at work, i get many pleasing comments. “That looks expensive”, “where can i get that” to name a few. I look for quality and a good price. Yep it came in very well and suits me fine. A great item. Ian Hayward Kent

I love love love it!
Very simply, this keyboard case turns your iPad into a laptop. The iPad connects to the case via Bluetooth and the connection is very secure. It feels very well built, the keys are very responsive, the battery life is great and, quite frankly, Iâd be lost without it now. itâs a must-have if you do a lot of typing. I was considering upgrading my 6th generation ipad but with this keyboard I have everything I need. Money very well spent! The case does make the iPad noticeably heavier, but no heavier than the average laptop.

GET THIS IF YOU WANT TO MAKE BETTER USE OF YOUR IPAD! WORTH EVERY PENNY
I do not normally bother writing reviews but I am so impressed with this I just had to share my thoughts!I am a uni student who always carries my laptop (MacBook Air) around for work; however, it gets annoying after a while as my laptop is heavy and I don’t always want to bring it with me everywhere. Have an iPad which I did not use much except for binge-watching Netflix shows on the go, but I wanted to make better use of it (iPads aren’t that cheap after all). This case is perfect for being more productive with your iPad as it turns it into a mini laptop. It has a very nice feel (exterior to the touch of the keys) and the setup is super simple. It comes with a charging cable too. If you want to detach the iPad from the keyboard, it can easily be done. The magnet that holds the iPad and keyboard component together is so sturdy I have no worries about my iPad being unprotected. The case does make the iPad slightly heavier; however, it’s still way much lighter than my laptop so I do not mind at all. This is the best purchase I have made so far and I wish I had bought this sooner. If you are contemplating whether or not to buy this, DON’T THINK AND JUST DO IT!

Finally a good tablet case… Couple minor niggles but overall this as good as it gets!
The bottom line there is that this case is excellent. i’ve tried a bunch of tablet cases and keyboard combinations…. And this is far and away the best. It’s solid and genuinely makes your iPad feel like you’re working on a mini laptop. The key spacing is perfect. So many other models have tiny keys… This does not. It’s very well designed. Easy access to buttons and the keyboard offers predictive text option on your iPad screen which I love…. If it had a trackpad then you’d forget you were using a tablet. It’s so good that I keep going to use the trackpad and forgetting that it doesn’t exist… If they released one with a trackpad then I’d but it tomorrow. The only thing that annoys me about it is that it could use a support stand on the back of the case…. This is robust so the screen stands up perfectly. No issue there… But when you’re using the touchscreen element of the tablet (which is essential because there’s no trackpad) then the screen rocks back and forth a little…. It doesn’t fall. It maintains grip in its position but it’s just a bit annoying. This is one element away (either a stand or trackpad/mouse) away from being perfect but it’s comfortably the best on the market already in my opinion.

I have used this product since early March 2019. I’m writing this in late May 2022. I have replaced it twice now, for different reasons. The first time I replaced it was for wear-and-tear reasons after two years: the case had gotten pretty beat up from being dragged around a college campus and travelling with me everywhere I go. The second time was just recently, when I had what I believe to be a fluke issue with wiring that broke several keys and made them nonfunctional (including the space bar, unfortunately).I emailed Arteck support and got a response within the day. A couple of emails back and forth resulted in me getting a free replacement as it had malfunctioned within the 24 month warranty. I was also told that the warranty continues to apply to my replacement, which is impressive and demonstrates the manufacturer’s trust in their productâ a trust that, in my opinion, is very much justified. Customer support was incredibly helpful and nice about the whole situation. Here’s a more thorough breakdown of what I’ve found in three years with this keyboard:CHARGEThis keyboard’s ability to hold charge is astounding. I will forget to charge my keyboard for a month, probably more, and it’ll still hold a strong charge. I use it very often and for extended periods of time, and yet it has never fully run out of battery. It has an indicator light to let you know what charge it has (0/25/50/75/100) if you hit fn+left command.I believe the charger is a standard microUSB or something along those lines; each keyboard I’ve received comes with its own charging cable (USB to microUSB).EFFECT ON IPAD CHARGEI don’t have many comments on any effects it may have had on my iPad charge as I’ve been using one of these keyboards more or less since getting this iPad. My iPad is several years old and holds a charge very well despite constant usage and constant bluetooth pairing.STURDINESS/DURABILITYFair warning, this will add some heft to your iPad. Thatâs to be expected with the hard plastic case.I haven’t done a true drop test, but I have dropped this in a sandy, dusty, gravelly place on my college campus when it fell out of my bag. The screen protector on my device has been incredibly useful. I highly recommend getting one to extend the longevity of both products! The joint of the case can get looser over time, but I think that’s unavoidable. However, it stays in place very well and won’t give you any trouble, even if the keyboard is pretty worn out.TYPINGI don’t know if it’s just me or if it’s a result of the keyboard options I use on my device, but when I type out certain symbols (‘ ” ^ and so on) followed by a vowel without hitting the spacebar first, I’m left with a different version of the vowel (á ë î and so on). There is a trick to figuring out quotations and such (I’m a student, so I have to use them a lot for papers), but the main trick is just using the spacebar. The quotations might show up slightly differently depending on your font; I think because their function to autogenerate symbols will default them to arial or something, but there’s another trick to that tooâ moving your cursor to where specifically you want your quotation to end/start, hitting the correct key for it, and then moving it to the end of the quote before hitting space.CONNECTIONIt stays connected basically all the time unless it’s asleep or you’ve chosen to disconnect it by turning off your bluetooth connection to it from your iPad.Most of the time, your digital keyboard (on-screen) won’t show up. If it does, either your keyboard is asleep and it’ll wake up as soon as you use it (I haven’t noticed a significant lag) or you hit the keyboard key on the bluetooth keyboard. If you want to switch from on-screen to bluetooth keyboard, you just have to hit any key on your bluetooth keyboard.Apple has a built in function on the screen for keyboard options and dictation that can get in the way of what you’re typing, unfortunately. I understand why it’s useful but I do find it frustrating from time to time (mostly on messaging apps as it gets in the way of the send button). However, this is an Apple feature, and not an Arteck feature.IN CLOSING,Overall, Iâm very happy with this product, and I will continue to use it for as long as I have a compatible model. I highly recommend it for anyone whoâs happy to have a âmini computerâ.
