Useful lightweight tripod with single central pole and expanding support base at the bottom.
Ideal and very light weight tripod. It comes with a stand to hold a tablet, and as this fits onto a standard vertical screw, you could replace that with another phone or a camera. It has a vertical pole with a short wide base at the bottom, so you don’t have a large ‘pyramid’ of legs sticking out, making this easier to fit into a smaller space yet still be stable. I have used it for holding my tablet for viewing, for holding my phone (separate holder), for holding my pivo pod (separate purchase) plus phone, and as a tripod for my video camera for recording events I am speaking at.This tripod is much lighter than my other tripods, and it fits neatly into my bags, making it much easier for travelling to events.Overall, I find this stand sturdy (at least on an indoor flat floor, I have not tried it outdoors. Potentially the short base would be difficult to stabilise on rough / uneven ground compared to a typical tripod with separate spreading legs. The top screw is attached on a rotating ball so you can adjust the angle for your camera/phone/tripod to suit your requirements.

Good value iPad/Tablet/Phone stand – Very portable due to being lightweight, compact & easy to use
This stand is suitable for iPad/Tablets/Phones and raises them up to a maximum height of 65″ (around 1.65m or 165cm), which is much higher than I personally would need.It’s easy to use this stand, which is very adjustable and despite its lightweight construction material, feels sturdy & stable with my tablet, and very stable with my phone, although I have to say the plastic tablet holder on top is disappointing, especially compared to the rest of the unit.The spring loaded holder that grips the tablet to hold it in place doesn’t feel like it clamps hard enough (if only they had used stronger springs) – I’ve got around this by attaching some strong velcro hook & loop take to the back of my tablets’ clear gel case, and the surface of the tablet holder, which looks a little strange when its off the stand but gives me more confidence it won’t fall out. I did encounter a little slippage of the tablet holder due to the ball joint design & materials – but my tablet is on the heavier side so this may not be a problem for others.Overall, I don’t think I would buy this for constant use at one location, but it’s great for carting around (to and from college or work, or when travelling etc.), due to its light weight and ease of use, and at the retail price it is very good value.

This is something that I didn’t know would help me when facetiming or wanting to watch something on my ipad whilst doing something else ð¤£.Functionality is good for both tablets and phones.Grip is good. The holder for the phone/tablet is good as well.Only as sturdy as floor you have it on.

Basic but functional
I got this Lucky Trip Tripod Stand mainly for use with my Samsung Galaxy Tablet.The body of the stand is made of aluminium alloy so provides decent strength whilst not being awkwardly heavy. The stand has a wide range of height capabilities, from a minimum of 16.7 inches to 65 inches. The main pole has 3 height adjusting controls along its length to allow you to find the exact height that you require anywhere in between those limits. The tripod base splays out a reasonable amount, which is important if using the stand at the higher end of its height range.The device holder is good at holding my tablet in place. I do feel that the tablet in place with stand at full height feels a little precarious, but fine if you take care not to knock it over. The angle of the tablet can be very granularly adjusted thanks to the design that includes 2 ball joints.This is a decent and very low cost product that will provide for a lot of use cases.

Great stand does what i need
I’ve recently bought an exercise bike, which I’ve got set-up in our spare room. I wanted to be able to watch something on my phone while I’m on the bike, and this stand is the perfect solution.The stand is well-made and was easy to put together. The height adjusting feature means that I can set it to the exact height I need and it stays in place. The neck bends too, so you can get it in just the right position. I’ve also started using it to watch TV while I’m lying in bed, as I find that this helps me to relax before I go to sleep.The standout feature for me is the head that holds my phone. This is the first phone holder I’ve found that has been perfectly designed to hold my phone in place without taking it out of its case. I use a flip case on my phone, so I can carry my credit cards around, which makes it wider than a standard phone case. As a result, I’ve always had to take my phone out of the case to use a phone holder, which is annoying. This phone holder however, has been designed so that it’s wide enough to hold my phone perfectly in place so I don’t have to take it out of the case.I can’t praise this stand highly enough. It’s definitely been designed with the user in mind – including a carry bag, so I can pack it up and take it on holiday with me!
