The iRasptek 27W USB-C Power Supply is an ideal power supply for Raspberry Pi 5, especially for users who wish to drive high-power peripherals, such as hard drives and SSDs, from Pi 5’s four Type A USB ports.
Delivering a maximum of 5.1V, 5A, it supports USB PD (Power Delivery), so Pi 5 can communicate with it and select the most appropriate power profile. This enables Pi 5 to increase the USB current limit automatically from the default 600mA to 1.6A, in order to provide extra power for devices connected to the four Type A USB ports.Additional built-in power profiles mean the iRasptek 27W USB-C Power Supply is also an excellent option for powering third-party PD-compatible products. The available profiles are 9V, 3A; 12V, 2.25A; and 15V, 1.8A, all limited to a maximum of 27W.
17AWG 3-Wire Pure Copper Core

The PI5 need quite a specific power to work properly – this is obviously designed for it and does the job perfectly.

Enough power for a Raspberry Pi 5.
In my testing, this power supply appears to easily supply enough power to a Raspberry Pi 5 and smooth Youtube video playback is achievable, as well as MP4 video playback on the Pi. Also, the power supply does not seem to get hot and is merely slightly warm to the touch during extended use, which possibly goes some way to prove it is an efficient electronic design. I am very happy with the power supply.

J’avais besoin du fameux chargeur 5A suite au message sur l’écran ubtunu et instabilité avec mon ssd m2, c’est maintenant résolu! L’originale était pas dispo a la livraison rapidement, celui ci fonctionne très bien. Je recommande sans problème pour le Pi 5. Bonne qualité générale, je viendrai mettre à jours si problème. +1

Usato per alimentare la Raspberry del mio sistema domotico Home Assisistant, L’alimentazione non ha nessun problema, e riesce a gestire anche l’SSD collegato alla porta USB. Spero duri parecchio tempo. Per ora posso solo dire che è molto utile, stabile e professionale.Nell’ immagine: l’andamento costante dell’entità di “controllo alimentazione” fornita da Raspberry su Home Assistant. L’entità è sempre OK se non ci sono problemi di alimentazione ridotta.
