Decent Replacement for the money
Does the Trick, the upper has a nice grip, the thread on the bolt, is clean and the twister locks in tight, its a hard plastic construction but is smooth and seems very sturdy, slid in and out of the tripod with ease, and most importantly no wobble once in place.

Doesn’t fit my tripod
I bought one of these to use on a Velbon Sherpa 450r. The bottom section was too big to fit into its receptacle and had to be filed down quite a bit. Luckily, I had a file but for anyone that doesn’t, it’s going to be pretty much useless. After filing down, I slid the adapter in and closed the lock, which consequently broke the angled plastic.Basically, I would say that this gadget needs to be 40mm not 43 to fit my model of tripod. So, if you have a VELBON tripod, make sure you measure the existing base BEFORE you order and if its @40mm, DON’T ORDER!!!!!

Doesn’t fit
This doesn’t fit, despite the claimed measurements given. Having said that, you get what you pay for. It’s cheap and with a bit of filing around the edges, it now fits snuggly.
