The JJC LH-HN40P SILVER screw-in Lens Hood is designed to prevent unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending and shading the end of the lens.
The non-glare matte finish on the inside further prevents or limits lens flare. No vignetting will show with the hood on.
The hood allows you to put on a Ф46mm filter and a Ф46mm lens cap. With the extended lens end, you will also benefit from extra protection from accidental impact. JJC LH-HN40P SILVER replaces Nikon HN-40 lens hood.

Ideal for the Nikon z50II
I purchased the Nikon z50II two lens kit but Nikon don’t supply a lens hood for either the 16×50 or the 50×250 lens. These two hoods are a perfect fit and of good quality and they are cheaper than genuine Nikon hoods. Well pleased with my purchase.

Feels a little cheap.
As others have already mentioned the design isnât all that great. The hood screws onto lens okay, but you canât screw a filter into the hood (despite it appearing to be threaded). Even the genuine Nikon lens cap that comes with the 16-50mm lens is unfortunately difficult to attach to this hood.
