I can’t fault this for what it is, a very simple, reasonably priced steam deck dock that works just fine.I however didn’t fully do my research when purchasing and am now realising it’s a bit limited for what I want, namely streaming games from my PC. My plan was to wire the dock to the home network, but with USB ports being 2.0 and the Ethernet port capped at 100Mbps it doesn’t cut the mustard for that use case. BUT that’s my fault, as the manufacturer literally states all this in the product description, so no stars deducted, I’m just a bozo.Otherwise it’s sturdy, fits the steam deck well and worked out of the box. It will be a worthy backup after I upgrade.

Good enough for occasional use
Seems to work just fine, steam deck sits nicely in the dock and plenty of ports. I’m a little concerned about the strain the USBC connection is putting on the port on the deck, as it’s a fairly stiff cable and needs twisting the install in the top of the deck.

Have used this on and off for over 2 years with a Steam Deck LCD, never had a major issue. Sometimes a bit finnicky with connecting and will display a black screen, prompting you to unplug and re-plug, however I’ve never managed to isolate if that is an issue with my Steam Deck or with the dock, so I can’t knock stars off for it. Easy fix either way!

Works perfectly for my needs
I got this in order to connect my Steam Deck to my living room TV for the occasional play. This then gives me the option to play directly off of the deck, or stream from my Xbox Series X or PS5 or to stream from my PC. Gives me huge versatility for sharing these devices into my living room.Set-up has been very easy, I plugged my steam deck charger into it, connected it to the deck, connected an HDMI cable to the TV and then paired an Xbox controller to my Steam Deck.From there I get a good experience using the deck and am playing a variety of games in there. I have found that Steam Streaming is not quite as smooth as the “Moonlight” linux app which just works so well. Console streaming is also great.I am connecting via Wifi as the ethernet is not the fastest. It is all running very well. Great device for the price.

Fails to run at 30w just 25w with original ally charger and a ugrreen one. Does not fulfil intended purpose as claimed

Not 4K compatible!
I was getting incredibly frustrated at this, I was connecting it to my 4K TV with a 4K HDMI cable. The cable worked fine, the steam deck recognised that it was docked but I wasn’t getting anything on my TV. I then connected it to a monitor and it immediately worked. Took the HDMI cable which was just a standard HDMI cable from the monitor and again, it immediately worked on my TV. So great when it worked, but saying it works with 4k is false (not a deal breaker for me though)

The dock works great, a handful of times the charger that comes with the dock has not been charging at full speed, the only way I’ve found to fix is to unplug everything from the dock unplug the charger from the dock and the wall and plug it back in.
