Average Headphones, Good Enough for Children
I wouldn’t call myself an audiophile, but I do know good quality sound from bad and these headphones do not have good sound quality. They are all about the low end, very bassy sound, and not much in the higher frequencies. A lot of adults probably wouldn’t notice so I wouldn’t expect this to be a problem for children at all, but I suppose it depends what they’re getting used for. On TV programs it might be okay, but for music it’s very noticeable (for me).After that, they’re fairly standard. Very nice to look at (my daughter is going to love them), and the ear cup size is very good too. I’ve had children’s headphones before where the cup was so small it didn’t even go over my daughter’s ear when she was four, but this up goes around my whole ear (just) so will be fine even for older children.There’s a simple controller on the cable on which you can adjust the volume by a click, not a wheel. You still have volume control on your device of course, and these headphones have no problem delivering good volume (so will also work very well on planes, where you need that extra push). There’s also a built in microphone so you can use them with a smart assistant if you press and hold the button. If you tap the button once it will play/pause your show/song, press it twice it will skip forwards a track, three pressed to skip backwards. I’m very impressed with the functionality you can get with just one button.Finally, there’s a 3.5mm jack socket on the bottom of the right headphone, so you can daisy chain another pair to the same audio source (fairly standard fare for children’s headphones, I think).All in all, apart from the sound quality (which, of course, is probably a fairly big thing to take into consideration with headphones) these are great. As long as your kids aren’t too savvy when it comes to audio quality, these are pretty good.

My Granddaughter loved these. They were part of her birthday gift. She loved the colours which are lovely and bright. They sound really good and easy to use. The quality wasn’t the best but fine for a child and at this price you really can’t complain. I would recommend these happily for children.
