Great value and accurate instrument.
Required this to check the moisture content of wood although it does other materials. Found it accurate easy to use and the audible signal at high levels was very useful in dark conditions. I had to reach to obtain a reading and the hold function was perfect. A good tool to have.

Works well and easy to use.
I bought this damp meter to check wood for my wood burner stove. It is easy to use and it works well. My only complaint is that you need to set the meter for the type of wood being checked. Unfortunately, I do not always know what type of wood I am checking when it is just a lump of wood! I usually just take an average check to get an idea of how dry the wood is.
