A solid heavy duty step ring
An excellent solid step ring, much heavier than most of the step rings I have bought in the past. Itâs more expensive for sure but I certainly think it will stand the test of time. Screws on to all my lenses / filters without binding.

Spot on sizing – and the thread doesn’t jam on my lenses
Buying expensive filters for you largest lens and then re-using them on the smaller ones by using “step-rings” makes economic sense and reduces the weight of your camera bag.I tested the 49 to 58mm step ring – The photo’s tell it all.The sizing is correct.The material and finish is excellent – I especially like the knurled edges to make it easy to twist on and off.The ring is 3.6mm deep,so does not cause “vignetting” on my lenses.Delivery was quick – and the ring was protected in a good padded case (NB, if you bend the ring it can jam on the lens, so treat these carefully until they are safely screwed into plce.)The pack also contained some microfibre cleaning cloths – which is a welcome bonus.OVERALL – I like this – and would be happy to get it again. Delivery was next day to mainland UK which is great service too.

Is it really brass ?
I have a 49-77 version of this which is great, however the 52-77 version instantly stuck to a very expensive ND filter so I suspect it’s not brass, certainly felt lighter. The whole point of buying a brass ring is to avoid the stuck filter issue.

brought to use a cpl filter on my smaller lenses, attached to lens fine screwed on my 82mm k&f cpl can i get the filter back off no i cannot tried everything other than a blow torch rubber gloves nada rubber bands nada so i cant even return it now as its still got my filter attached.

Also eines vorweg der Adapter tut genau das was er sollte und sorgt dafür das ich an 72mm Objektiven 82mm Filter verwenden kann und das tut er sehr gut ohne zu verklemmen und ähnliches. Einzig die Werbung auf der Verpackung ist komisch. Z.B. wie kann ein Filter ohne Glas mit einer Auflösung werben “8K” oder das er Wasserdicht ist “besteht doch nur aus einen Teil wo sollte da auch Wasser eindringen” oder “multilayer Coating” ist doch gar kein Glas was soll da beschicktet sein. Aber von der Werbung mal abgesehen würde ich den Adapter in anderen gröÃen mir sofort wieder kaufen wenn ich diese benötige.
