Best in the game!
These are a great little set of snips. Allows you to get into confirmed spaces where larger side cutters wonât reach. I have the VDE version as were required to use VDE tools at my work. I have two sets of these, one in my main tool kit and another in the mini-kit that I keep in my truck. Also Greta for clipping off cable ties and other jobs where you donât want to use your proper side cutters or the dreaded âStanley knife pressed into serviceâ approach. They are expensive but the quality is a different level to generic options on the market.

The quality you’d expect from Knipex
Knipex doesn’t need review. You know you’re getting the best quality. This one replaces a snips that was lost after serving me for 20+ years and still worked great. It was on sale so I got it for a good price.It comes bare, without any Knipex packaging or tags (which I’m happy with as I have less to recycle) but if I weren’t buying from the Knipex store then I might find it harder to know whether I’m getting a genuine Knipex or one of the knockoffs.

Very good quality
Great little flush cutters. Minimal effort to get a nice smooth edge on cable ties. Definitely worth the extra cost. I’d used the cheap Amazon yellow and black ones for years but the most recent ones I bought felt very poor and didn’t cut as well as they used to so decided to pay for the decent ones and they are easily a superior product.

Nice piece of kit but not 100% perfectly level cut sometimes as the jaws are slightly mis-aligned. Tolerance is okish for what I use for cutting zip ties

Quick delivery from Germany. As expected, itâs another very solid tool from Knipex. The size is just right for every day carry as itâs bigger than the snip used for fine electronics but not a bulky âwire cutterâ for those really heavy duty stuff. The arms are solid with very smooth action. Zero play noted. The cutting edges are good for easy cutting of smaller wires.
