Easy Install – easy recharge – decent light as a pair.
Wanted lights in our shoe/coat closet, regular light was a pain due to wiring locations, so went for these.One is âokâ but two do the job.Have also staggered use by two weeks, so one will always have power when the other needs a charge.Well built, the magnet mounts work well. PIR also effective.Have an unlit larder which is likely to get another pair of these for the same reason.Best feature is the easy recharge – no more battery use.

Can’t believe how good these are for the money
Just really can’t fault these little babies (2no in a pack). Used for a PC/printer cup’d that could benefit from a bit of extra light. As I have mains power locally my usual fare are some PIR wardrobe lights from IKEA. But that would be works hooking up to mains power and a much higher cost/faff. I have to say I was dubious about the quality of these considering the silly price but having rechargeable lights that were swiftly removable to use as a quick task light . BUT was I proved wrong. Firstly they are super slim feel sturdy and a nice cool metal feel in your hand with plastic end caps/controls. The light is nicely spread due to the diffuser so no points of light just a good even wash of light. They are on sticky mag pads and are very easily removable for charging/use as a torch (note: must me installed the correct orientation for them to attract the case). The PIR operates instantly when opening the doors and stay on for about 25-30sec as stated. Brightness and colour temp as simply adjusted (if not a little confusing with the 2 button arrangement but that’s my accustoming issue not the products I presume) The onboard batteries I believe are only 1000mps so likely won’t last very long between charges if you use quite often (like a kitchen worktop light perhaps), but that’s really a total guess as I’ve only had a week and they are going strong for me so far. As usual its dependant on use.In summary I am SUPER IMPRESSED so far as they seem well made and work exactly as advertised so will go back for some more to use elsewhere as they are just to good to pass up !

Good, but don’t last long
I bought these with good intentions based on the reviews a few months ago. I wanted these lights for the kitchen cabinets and to be on the auto setting, so that when someone nears the upper cabinets they would come on and go off automatically. At first they were brilliant. They still are, however, their charging time has gone from once every 2 weeks to now weekly. It’s not really that much of a big deal, just cumbersome. Once on charge, there is a little red light in the middle to show charging and it usually takes a few hours to reach full charge. That’s fine and dandy. When the lights need charging, they are flashing on and off continously which is a great indication. But this could be a little detrimental to those with light sensitivity epilepsy. Nobody has this, but it is a concern for anyone who is thinking of buying them.Their magnetism works well, you need to have the lights properly situation for this as the lights are only magnetable is certain areas of the base. If they don’t magnetise the first time, just shift them along a little and you will feel the pull. The magnet is adequate for the need. A charging wire is supplied, short at it may be, it works, and it is a USB charging cable so you will need to provide your own plug. They give off a nice white light when they are turned on, great for a little low level ambience through those winter nights when the big light is too much or it’s just not dark enough for the big kitchen light.The lights themselves were cheap enough to buy, but with their weekly charging, I don’t really know how cost efficient they really are.All in all, they are a good buy especially if you can get them on sale, but there are some concerns with their cost efficency and their performance.

Brilliant Lights
These provide a bright, even light and are of a high build quality. The sensor works well and they have good battery life after each charge. Simple to install and work well under a kitchen cabinet or in a cupboard. Great value for money. Would recommend!

Useful product, but wit a room for improvement
I generally enjoy using this product, as it provides good lighting of the kitchen worktop. The magnetic fixings are great. However, there a couple of shortcomings that prevent me from giving it 5 or even 4 stars. I have used these lights for more than a month now and can share the following observations. 1) The charge lasts about a week, after which the motion sensor stops working, although itâs still possible to switch the light on manually. Given that these are LEDs and used only intermittently, I would expect them to work longer on a single charge. 2) The daylight sensor, if at all present, is useless, because the lights come on no matter if itâs light or dark in the kitchen.

SAFETY WARNING!
Great when taken out of the box but as soon as I went to charge them…..nothing, they just won’t charge and remain unusable. To make matters worse I left one plugged in overnight and the USB cable attached to it melted so potentially a fire hazard. If it wasn’t for this charging issue they would be a good purchase but safety is paramount therefore a re-design needs to take place. Do not leave these charging unsupervised as the risk outweighs the gain.

Effective under cabinet lighting
These are a brilliant solution to under cabinet lighting. They are effective and extremely easy to install. Charging is easy. Highly recommend these. So good, I will be buying some more!

Not great
Not great, the battery life is terrible and the lights are quite dim, there is much better out there.
