First thing I noticed was the heft of the lock. Felt solid which I wasn’t sure I’d get with a relatively inexpensive lock. It only took me about 10 minutes to install the physical lock as the hole was already there from the previous lock. The part that took the longest was feeding the wire from the one handle through to the other. It only has a small hole through which it needs to come through. If not for that, it may have only taken me 5 minutes to install. The biggest glitch was that the handle didn’t cover the entire footprint of the previous handle, so as you can see from picture number 2, it left an area open that is unpainted. Obviously only a minor inconvenience and is in the garage, so no big deal. The app was simple to use, and the setup intuitive, so I was able to give my family and select friends codes within another 10 minutes time. The biometric was simple to set up. All that needs to be done is tell your app you want it and place your thumb on the sensor 4 times. **Voila**, done.

The gold gives a warn appeal, and sets off any door immediately bringing it into the future of high security. This device would be phenomenal if it came with a matching security camera. The handle is sturdy as well as strong. This is a Great product for any door, exterior or interior office doors as well as schools hospitals nursing homes etc.

So I got this in August 2023 amd it’s now January 2024 it worked the first 2 weeks then it would randomly lock or get stuck and I didn’t replace it then because I thought it was user error.. then I reset it and it was fine for 2 months and then again with the same crap. My husband and I both have our fingerprints set up and a few codes just incase… we have been locked out randomly without the app working the codes and our prints didn’t work.. so we gave up.. and today .my 1 year old finally reached the door handle and guess what happend… the glass peice falls right off small enough for her to put in her mouth (thank God it happend with me right behind her) not safe.not cool… the hubby and I agree it was a waste of time and money.
