This is one impressive carrying case for whatever you decide to use it for. Very nice, light weight, yet strong enough that I could stand my full 250# on it with absolutely no movement! Fantastic, secure clasps and double loops for padlocks make this unit very secure. The hold open hinges are a plus Iâve never seen in similar products before. Once open, the lid will remain open until YOU decide to close it. It will not blow or bounce shut and damage items you may not have securely loaded yet, and the carrying handle is beefy and well padded and feels great in my hand. The foam insert for protecting the drone is made of a very sturdy, high density foam that offers great protection against droppage and is easily removed if you want to use the carrying case for other purposes. The only negative I can mention was the smell. The foam insert had the most foul smell of any item Iâve received. It went beyond the chemical smell to a full blown STINK!! It has been removed and stored in my exterior garage to see if it will air out.

I have several cases from this maker and they are all VERY well made. They have great locks that wont accidentally come undone. The plastic is thick and heavy duty, yet not overly weighty. The case looks and feels premium. Inside, the foam is very nicely cut and will not fall apart with years of use. This case and insert will outlast your drone by many years, but when you replace the drone, the foam insert comes right out and you can repurpose the case. Unfortunately, the foam insert has a horrendous ammonia smell. Not sure how you can get rid of that, but it really is bad. I guess, you dont generally leave the case open, so its not the worst thing. Overall, this is an excellent case but it does stink

This case is built solid. Latches have a push button, push up and pull back. Itâs a little more complex than they have to be but they work. The first opening of the case and youâll be greeted with a strong chemical smell but it airs out fast. If you need the cutout insert yes itâs finely cut. If you donât need it, the case has too and bottom padding for your own empty configurations. Or if you want to add pick n pluck style foam.
