Really great printer, easy to setup both on WiFi and Bluetooth.It’s so handy being able to slip a printer into your bag and have it to hand when you need it.Battery seems to last well.The quality of the prints is much better than I expected, the contrast between the black and white is really clear and gives your prints great definition.Highly recommend this thermal printer.It also comes with a roll of thermal paper to get you started, which isn’t written on the item description.

File this under the heading of âOne of those things you never knew you needed until you had one.âThis is basically a tiny portable black & white printer that you can sync up to your iPhone or Galaxy Android. Once youâve installed the app and synched the printer to your phone via Bluetooth or the enclosed USB cord, you are ready to go. You can print JPGs, PDFs, and Word text.This device is great for its small size, nearly silent operation, and convenience. You can print out small notes, photos, lists, and whatnot on the enclosed thermal paper. What this is not is a great printer: you are only printing out images and text in slightly-better-than-average 300dpi monochrome. For what itâs worth, itâs a great buy. Just remember, you are getting a decent tiny printer at a decent tiny price. If you want to print beautiful glossy color photos this is not the unit youâre looking for; youâre going to have to look for a very different, much more expensive product. The added benefit of this printer is that it doesnât require ink or toner, the thermal paper produces the text or image that you are printing.Our daughter is using this for schoolwork and for taking casual candid photos of her friends which get stuck up on dorm room walls. Itâs fun and very easy to use.You receive a small size roll of thermal paper â you can purchase refills at most office supply stores and here on Amazon â but you can also use paste-able thermal paper to make your own faux post-it notes. The printer uses 57mm X 30mm refills.Iâm giving this device a 5-Star rating because of its decent print quality, value, and its price point. This is an exceptional value especially with the current 30% optional Amazon discount coupon (at the time of this review). This makes a great gift item for students and for folks who like to take pictures on the go.

Iâve tried a handful of budget thermal printers over the years, and this one stands out in terms of both print quality and app functionality. If youâre looking to print quick notes, labels, or even stylized black-and-white images, this printer really delivers.Print Quality:The image output is surprisingly sharp for a thermal printer. I printed a photo (see attached image) and was genuinely impressed with how well it rendered texture, shading, and facial features using just black and white thermal contrast. Compared to similar thermal printers, the resolution here seems higher and more refined.App Functionality:The companion app is robust and intuitive. It offers tons of templates for labels, to-do lists, calendars, and even creative elements like frames and stickers. It made customization super easy, and everything synced to the printer seamlessly over Bluetooth. Thereâs clearly been a lot of thought put into the design of the app, which sets it apart from cheaper alternatives with clunky or poorly translated interfaces.Why One Star Off:I did notice a recurring issue with prints being slightly skewed or faded on the right side. Itâs subtle but consistent (especially noticeable in image prints). It doesnât ruin the functionality for quick prints or labels, but if youâre planning to do photo-style prints or detailed designs, it may be a bit frustrating. Hopefully, this is a one-off hardware defect or something that could be fixed in future updates/models. The battery is also okay, I haven’t fully tested it for all of my uses but seems sufficient and it’s nice that it is USB-C.Final Verdict:Still highly recommend this printer for anyone who wants to add a bit of creative flair to their journaling, organization, or decorating. The app is feature-rich and user-friendly, and the overall quality of prints is better than expected. Just be aware of the minor print alignment issue if you’re a perfectionist about borders and edges. The value is definitely there tho.
